Q:Can I throw my CDs to plastic recycling trash?
Only buy spindles that are recyclable. Leave any that are not on the store shelf. This is a general rule for everything you buy.
Q:How do scents get through a plastic bag?
Plastic is not air tight or air proof Baggies are made from a thin plastic the thicker it is the less air can escape, that's why when you put food in a zip lock it gets frost inside or it, !
Q:friendly plastic help!?
No where. No type of plastic is friendly (unless it's BPA-free, but even then, it's still plastic). There are, however, other friendly resources such as: Aluminum (which can still have BPA, but isn't as bad as plastic) Stainless steel Glass Complex Carbonate (which is basically the same as plastic, so it's not much better)
Q:why is plastic able to be stretched?
If you look up plastic in the dictionary, you will see that it means a material that is deformable. Therefore plastics by definition can be stretched. However, not all plastics are easily deformable. Most are formable when they are hot, but many become brittle when cooled. Plastics are made of long chain molecules of hydrocarbons called polymers. The molecules themselves are flexible and can be bent and twisted into various shapes. They also have the ability to slide over each other, allowing the material as a whole to be formable.
Q:dis advantage of plastic water bottle?
They need to be manufactured with high heat, washing them releases chemicals into water, they're heavy and require a lot of extra fuel to ship. They take up lots of extra room in extra warehouses where they have to be handled really carefully because they're so fragile... oh, sorry. That's glass again.
Q:can you make plastic stuff without a factory?
Purge Injection Molding Machines Non-abrasive, Non-chemical, safe
Q:Can plastic be called rubber?
no because plastic is a bit harder than rubber
Q:Is there any possible way to turn plastic into energy?
Not that I know of. Plastic and Energy are two elements. It could be possible, but I am not sure.
Q:What plastics are in shotgun shells?
I would think that it would be somewhat toxic. It may not cause immediate death, but I can't see where it would be good to breath the fumes.
Q:Plastic=Bad?
more than 90% of plastic bags are never recycled. Which is why I can see three in the trees outside my bedroom window. I hate them.Lets face it, when I was a kid they neverput two items in a paper bag...they do that all the time at grocery stores now. Why? because they dont have a very long life span as far as use. Yes, there are some good things about plastic - but most of it sucks - in large part because its so cheap, and we are so irriesponsible about using it.
