Q:what is plastic pellets?
air soft bullets, little plastic balls that fire out of a toy gun. like bbs but plastic instead of metal.
Q:is melted plastic poisonous?
Any plastic contains small amounts of solvents that can make a person sick, and high temperatures release whatever compounds the plastic breaks down into. Only one death has been reported and that was an incinerator that was not equipped to handle the plastics they were burning. So I don't think it's dangerous, but it stinks pretty badly.
Q:can plastic molecules bond with metal molecules?
Plastic molecules are usually long chain polymers, eg. one unit of say (-CH3=CHO-) repeated constantly. Whereas metals usually dont come as moleculed but as pure elements, sometimes a mix of different metals that are alloys rather than compounds as they dont properly bond. To answer your question you could technically i suppose alloy plastic and metal to form a new substance but as most metal needs to go to over 1000 degrees Celsius to melt and plastic would burn up and turn into gaseous compounds at this temp it would be highly complicated and seriously impractical. Also you never know what properties the final mixture would have.
Q:Plastic carboy safety?
I would not use plastic. I understand that your wine will take on the taste of the plastic.
Q:Your view on plastic surgery?
It is a good thing if the person is doing it to improve their quality of life (as defined by themselves) and looks- boost their confidence! however, not so good if the person is getting enhancements etc.. to try look like the person that the media has portrayed as beautiful.(eg, size zero, big breasts, unnaturally white teeth) However, mine is only one opinion of many! Good luck with the paper.
Q:What are the 6 most common plastics?
Thermo Plastics (soften when heated): Polyethylene, Polyvinyl chloride, Polypropylene, Polystyrene, Polyethylene terephalate, Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, Polymethyl methacrylate, Polyamide. Thermosetting Plastics (release heat as they harden): Polyurethane, Phenolic, Melamine-formaldehyde, Urea-formaldehyde, Polyester, Epoxy. There are the names of 14 plastics I could remember. I have no idea how to figure out which are the six most popular. Perhaps you should do a search on each one, with an additional parameter to narrow the search. For example, Polyethylene+ global-annual-production Don't use the quotation marks; no space before but one space after the plus; no spaces before or after the hyphen. Once you know the global annual production of each type, you could rank them in order and find the most popular types. Why do teachers ask such idiotic questions? They sound so easy, but finding the true facts is always nearly impossible. Why couldn't they just say, Name six common plastics. Oh well, it's your problem, not mine. Oops! Forgot the last part of the question. It is generally impossible to describe the appearance of a particular type of plastic. Their names refer to the chemical structure of their molecules and their appearance depends largely on techniques used during manufacture. Another idiotic teacher question, hopelessly vague and nearly impossible to answer. Again, it's your problem. Bye....................
Q:removal of melted plastic in dishwasher?
All plastics are polymers (but not the other way around). There are a zillion different plastics, and a wide range of melting temperatures for them. Some don't melt, but actually suffer decomposition at higher temperatures because their molecular structure won't permit them to melt. Unfortunately, the question is so broad that not much more can be said. PVC, polyvinyl chloride, melts at 212 °C (about 414 °F). Teflon, which we use to coat cookware, is polytetrafluoroethene - PTFE, and it melts at 327 °C (about 621 °F). Whatever plastic that was made out of, probably had a high melting point, if it had one at all
Q:Wire or plastic cage?
In my experience, a wire cage is good. It gives them something to climb, and it's better for ventilation. Also if you can get a larger (2/3 floors) wire cage that's even better! Syrian hamsters can get quite big, and it's good to give them as much space as possible. Also a Syrian could get stuck in anything with tubes or plastic sections.
Q:Will hypertufa stick to plastic?
Hypertufa will not stick to plastic. All I can think is to construct a cylinder of sturdy cardboard around the garbage can, a little higher and several inches wider. Put hypertufa into the space between the can and the cardboard. When dry, peel off the cardboard. you will have covered the plastic can with hypertufa, without it needing to stick.
