Q:Plastic material PE, OPP and CPP?
I'm down with Foreigner and Jack White
Q:what plastic wrap best prevent oxidation ?
All good plastic wraps can slow oxidation,..the key is to wrap the product tightly while removing any trapped air from being sealed inside. That being said, cling types of plastic wrap tend to work better than some that don't. And all good cling wraps are not quite the best either if the thickness, mil of construction, is too thin. Thin wraps tend to tear when stretched and the coverage is then compromised. You may have to shop around to find the best wrap in your area, but usually Saran wrap has a good reputation for doing the function of preventing spoilage of foods. Some food items will oxidize even while wrapped so even the best wrap will not prevent it. Good luck with your food storage and stay safe.
Q:Does eating hot food in plastic containers increase chances of cancer?
I heard that heating foods in soft plastic containers is dangerous -- that carcinogens can leak out into the heated food. This is less likely to happen with hard plastic containers, however. Single-use plates and bowls (like one gets in the frozen section at the grocery store) are okay to heat up though -- once. They should be recycled or thrown away after that though and not used to reheat food in a microwave.
Q:What is corn plastic?
wrap seran wrap around a ear of corn.
Q:How do you melt plastic bags for jewelry?
Perhaps shredding the bag and mixing it with glue
Q:Why the plastic crucifix never melt?
All plastics are polymers (but not the other way around). There are a zillion different plastics, and a wide range of melting temperatures for them. Some don't melt, but actually suffer decomposition at higher temperatures because their molecular structure won't permit them to melt. Unfortunately, the question is so broad that not much more can be said. PVC, polyvinyl chloride, melts at 212 °C (about 414 °F). Teflon, which we use to coat cookware, is polytetrafluoroethene - PTFE, and it melts at 327 °C (about 621 °F). Whatever plastic that was made out of, probably had a high melting point, if it had one at all
Q:What kind of plastic to make rubber worms?
You could melt your soft plastic on your stove in a pan, in your microwave inside a glass container, or inside a lead smelting furnace. If you melt your soft plastic inside the house, it advised that you have all windows open and all ventilating fans on because the smell of molten plastic won't be too pleasant.
Q:Superglue off plastic??
Goo-gone may work, but it is intended for a more mild application such as stickers. I'd go with the sandpaper method, just use a fine grit when you get close the the plastic so you don't risk scratching it. You can also find adhesive remover at home depot, it generally comes in an aerosol can.
Q:What elements make up plastic?
C H O N Cl and S are found in most plastics. Some plastics like polyethylene, polystyrene and polypropylene are made of C and H only Polyvinyl chloride used in plastic piping contains chlorine Nylon contains C, H, N and O Teflon contains C, H, and F Probably be good if you could contact a keyboard manufacturing company via internet and ask them which of these plastics they use.
Q:Why does my cat chew plastic?
Hi okorder.com/.. The best thing you can do for your kitty is to keep all plastic out of reach of the cat. It will be a lot safer for your kitty. Some folks think that plastic may be attractive to cats because some of it is made with rendered animal fat. Don't know if that is true today, but it was awhile ago.
