Q:what is the best upright vacuum cleaner under $300.00?
Dyson hands down. Had mine for 6 years and still runs like champ. All filters a lifetime warrenty and are washable. Just price shop around for an older model.
Q:What are some vacuum cleaners that do NOT have a brush-roll?
Every canister vacuum I know of has a way to put a plain floor brush on the end of the wand instead of a beater brush. Shop-vacs also just have plain brushes.
Q:Who are you hoping for for the Iowa Caucus?
It matters not to me since none of them will be getting my vote in the general election.
Q:what do you think about lift-Away vacuum cleaners?
The I believe that Hoover originated the lift off design a few years ago. I've not used this one, but I have seen it kicking around warehouse retailers when was first released. To be honest, I think that the lift off canister design is far more hype than actually useful - regardless of the brand name. The theory of a smaller, portable vacuum is good, no doubt, but having to carry/hold the vacuum in one hand while you operate it with the other kind of defeats the purpose.
Q:Are their any vacuum steam cleaners on the market worth recommending?
i bought a bissell from wal mart, i think it was 169, a heated power steamer or something like that. i've used it several times (not because it did a bad job the first time, i just have 3 dogs and DETEST pet hair everywhere) anyway, it does an excellent job getting rid of the pet hair, you just have to make sure and clean the brush and bottom of the steamer each time you use it so it doesnt' clog. but anyway, my overall experience is that it did well to clean my old carpets (they were here when we moved in) it dries quickly, it didn't leave a musty wet smell, and it's fast and easy to use. hope that helps
Q:Any advice on the dirtdevil featherlite bagless vacuum?
its light weight and is esasy to move around. the bad thing is that it fills up right me
Q:Have the amount of murders by strangulation using a vacuum cleaner power cable decreased since the invention of cordless cleaners?
never crossed my mind
Q:Why are diesel locomotives noisy?
Q:Is your dog afraid of vacuum cleaners?
They aren't huge fans, but it's not terror or attack. They just wander off, or try to get on high ground (ie, couch, bed).
Q:I'm trying to decide between these two vacuum cleaners...?
Alyssa hands down. Lexi is a juvenile nickname. It's cute when the full name is Alexandra or Alexis, etc.. but to only have the only option of Lexi her whole life? It's too limiting. What if she wants to be some high powered lawyer? or.. a congresswoman? Lexi is so informal and babyish. Alyssa is at least a formal, nice, female name. It will go a long way.
