Q:Nail Varnish on carpet?
This may sound crazy but it works, i spilt pink nail varnish over a creme carpet. And i got a sharp pair of scissors and chopped the top of the carpet of, like not must even came of just a bit of fluff and it actually looked exactly the same, no difference at all. And you couldn't see the nail varnish. because it was on the fluff of the carpet. and there was quite a lot of nail varnish spilt.. :S :D
Q:How to get nailpolish off of carpet? ?
I read where someone said creamy peanut butter will take the stains out of a carpet, if that doesn't work try Magic Eraser by the same company that makes Mr. Clean. Magic Eraser took ink stains, nail polish, and other stubborn stains, off of toys that I use to recycle for the mission.
Q:What do you know about Armenian rug history?
I know very little beyond what is shown in showrooms and on Antiques Roadshow. Mostly they have Persian carpets, and not that much on Armenian.
Q:How to make a throw rug?
Area rugs do much more than simply cover your floors. They offer both comfort and style, and with the right positioning, can alter the entire appearance of a room. Standard rectangular rugs provide both utility and elegance while circular and octagonal rugs add a unique look. There are a wide range of sizes and styles available in a variety of colors and patterns, so you're sure to find one perfectly suited to any room or living space in your home. Area rugs can be constructed from a number of different materials as well, giving you even more choices. Selecting the perfect area rug can be simple with the following questions: How large should your area rug be? What style is best suited to the room? What colors and patterns will help you achieve desired effects? What purpose will the area rug serve? What type of fiber is best? Find answers to them according to your room. Hope that helps!
Q:Can you use fabuloso in a rug doctor?
Don t use anything other than a rug shampoo. These are specially made to be low suds since its hard t get out of a rug. An left over shampoo actually attracts dirt so rinse well and get as much water out as possible so rug dries faster.GL
Q:Carpet vs Carpet squares over existing tile floor?
Why not just a CHEAP carpet remnant? No glue, no staples, no nothing. They're about $75, and up, depending on the size. None
Q:what things should I look for when buying an area rug?
first of all, are you looking for an heirloom piece? Try oriental rugs or persian rugs. Very costly. Can set you back a couple grand but will increase in value over time. you need to look behind the rug for the quality. You are looking for handstitched and lots of detail, etc. The most important characteristic for me is durability and washability. Some you can put into the washer, others need special cleaners, some are spot clean only. The second characteristic important to me is texture. I like plush soft carpets that you can walk on with your bare feet. Of course, color choice and design are important. (floral? transitional? contemporary?) I like transitional. I'm a fan of Mohawk and Shaw area rugs. You can find them at Home Depot. Reasonable prices for machine made rugs.
Q:cleaning the carpet tonight.?
I had my carpet cleaned professionally and needed to wait until it was dry to put the furniture back on it, if not it may cause mold. I waited 8 hrs.
Q:Carpet Squares?
The ones I have found (online) have a rubber backing so they stay on the floor and don't move around much, so you don't have to connect them. But if you want to, they make really strong tape called carpet tape that you put on the underside of the squares. The good thing about not connecting them is that way you can pick one up and actually just rinse it in the sink if you spill on it. I stopped looking when I found out they would be too expensive for what I wanted (a large area), but you can get them from major places like Home Depot or Lowe's.
Q:What do I do with my carpet?
make ur cat eat it
