- Q:My venue I am using has banquet chairs that have arms on them. I have found universal chair covers that are bigger than normal that might fit over the chairs. I just need to measure them first before I order one to try out. Has anyone seen a chair cover over a chair with arms? How did it look? Does anyone know of any other websites that have universal chair covers to fit chairs with arms? Thanks!

- Q:So, if I put I chair on a table, and asked you to prove that chair doesn't exist or is not there, how would you do that? Or say, there is a chair on the table in front of you, prove it isn't there.
- I can always use my abstraction function or thinking process by removing the qualities of a chair(i see chesterfield instead), or use universalization function by identifying the chair through commonality( made of wood, made with four legs etc), with a table, so i'd say the chair doesn't exist,but a table exists infront of me instead. It is all about using your thought process.
- Q:Someone gave me an old chair. Looks cool in a vintage way, but some of the upholstery is worn. This may be a dumb question. But can any idiot reupholster or do you need special training? Are there any cheap ways to cover furniture? For example, I did a search and found a lot of decorative furniture tacks? What are these exactly. Since I have no upholstery experience, I was thinking of buying some cool looking fabric and tack it on the chair? Is that a dumb idea? Also, do furniture tacks stay put? I don't want them falling on the floor and me or my pets getting tacks in our feet.
- There okorder I remember seeing two or three tutorials on upholstering. They seemed very detailed and helpful. I tried to do this myself, but the chair was so old that it just made a huge mess when I tried to take off the existing upholstery - dust, fabric particles everywhere. - Besides churches, and draping bales of hay with linens, is your reception being catered? a lot of times catering companies will rent chairs too. Or if not, then keep looking for other chair rental companies. There are a lot of them, especially in metropolitan areas. If you are getting married in a more secluded area than maybe the bales of hay would match your theme and area!

- It was at WrestleMania X7 Stone Cold vs The Rock, because in the end of the match, Stone cold smashed the rock with a steel chair 16 times! But many people believe it was The Rock vs Mankind at Royal Rumble 1999- I Quit Match- WWF Championship. If you watch, see how many times Rock lays the Smackdown on Mankind with the chair or you can watch Beyond the Mat. It was 11 Chair Shots, you have to see the match. Mic Foley was left bloody.
- Q:I want to paint a plastic chair that's going to be outside in the garden, and I don't know what paint method to use.Can I just paint the chair with a spray can with a number of coats, or should I spray paint with primer first?
- Yes, you can spray paint a plastic chair without primer. There is a spray can product called Fusion, especially made for plastic. You will need to clean the chair really well for good adhesion. The Mr. Clean magic eraser sponges are the very best product for this job. You will be amazed how these sponges work. After cleaning, of course you will have to allow the chairs to completely dry before spraying. If you have a lot of spraying to do, there is a spray can attachment used like a trigger to spray the paint so your index finger does not go numb for two days. Yes, that happened to me. I hope my suggestions have been informative
- Q:I have a chair with a broken back, it can be detached from the rest of the chair and has a metal piece that goes into the padded/cloth part of the back.
- Chairs can be a bear to fix. Depending on what piece broke, it usually indicates metal fatigue from low quality steel used at high stress points (an engineering short-sight). On those kinds of chairs I just take off the broken pieces (arms, if any) and use the bottom as a roll around stool, cause fixing them only redistributes the stress load to another weak spot. They can be handy in the shop for working on the car (waxing the lower half and polishing the mags, etc.)
- Q:I need a chair with 4 legs not 5 and no arms.
- Yes... you can still get desk chairs with only 4 legs, and no arms. You can find them at department stores, office supply stores, etc. (OfficeMax, Office Depot, Sam's Club, Staples, Target, WalMart, etc) I will say this much.... a chair with 5 legs is more stable than a 4 leg chair....less likely to tip over. When I have a choice between the two... I get the 5 leg chair. Another option might be to consider a kitchen/dining chair. Happy Shopping

- So you want to have fun with them. Well we certainly wouldn't want to deprive you of your toys! You just got them YESTERDAY for crying out loud. Give them a freaking break! Why won't you allow them time to become acclimated (look the word up in the dictionary) to their new environment? If you were suddenly taken away from everyone and everything you knew and dumped into a strange land, wouldn't it take you a day or two before you could relax? And these are BABIES! Grow up. You need to be patient and kind. Give the kittens time to adjust and learn where everything is. It's no wonder they hide with such impatience coming at them. And remember, these are living beings - not TOYS!! If you are so young and immature that you need a toy to play with, you should have gone to Toys 'R Us and bought an electronic kitty. Living beings require love and kindness and food, water, shelter and health care. They have feelings and wants and needs. Give them time to adjust. That is even more true if they are feral. Ferals have not been socialized around people; in fact they have usually been taught to run and hide. Again, it will take TIME for them to realize they are in a safe place. And get a book and read up on cats. Educate yourself in the basics - for THEIR sake.
