- Get a 3/8 brad point drill bit and bore both sides that you want to hold together and stick a 3/8's wooden dowel in there with glue on it and clamp it together till it is dry........It will take you a little time, but it's worth it.........I just fixed two of my own.......people don't like to lift their weight when moving and it tears them up......the other thing is young kids like to lean backwards and that is hard on wooden chairs. You can buy a doweling jig........and I have one.......but if the chairs are ornate it takes a little thinking.......if they are straight then the jig will help you make it easy.........just measure and mark everything. Good luck and have a nice xmas. You also need a drill motor with the brad point bit.....just go slow.

- hello. suede chairs good for a dining room , my opinion well here's the thing, it totally depends, are you eating at your dining room often do you have children are you the only person who uses the dining room is there an alternative place where meals are eaten for example ( breakfast nook ) is the dinning room only used to eat meals , or also as a study table ? if you have children , or use your dining room table on a daily bases then I would suggest not too suede is a very beautiful material, but in many cases it is rather unpractical, when you have guests over you don't wanna consistently be worrying about your suede chairs as for scotch guard it Doesn't really change the feel at all but it my option it doesn't really work, we have a 8 seater fabric dining room set and its barely a 3 years old and it looks like 30 years old, is very badly stained please make wise decision good luck and may you enjoy your new dining room set

- maybe you should try semi-gloss which is easy to clean.

So I was thinking for one of my friends I would go get a chair from good will and paint it and make it look like hello kitty because she loooves hello kitty. - I loved Hello Kitty growing up! It may be hard to find a chair that is completely straight in the back as most have some sort of curve. If you find one the is straight. Attaching something on it. MDF is good because it's easy to cut and doesn't splinter. You can cut the shape of Hello Kitty's face with a jigsaw and then glue and screw it in to place. It may just be better to paint the seat. I know that isn't what you wanted but it is probably the best to do. You can paint the legs and back with fun shapes too. The good thing is that Hello Kitty stuff is pretty basic to copy and you should get good results. You could make a slip cover for the chair and attach Hello Kitty to the slip cover... If the chair has rungs, then just make a rectangular piece of fabric with ties and fold it in half at the top of the chair. Then tie it with the ties. Just another idea. Good luck. :)

- Guessing you just started? Yes it is. Unless you play professionaly, 2nd chair means you won't last. It's alright if it's just for fun *cough cough failure* but in reality, don't waste your time and quot now. 2nd chair is not good.
