Sinatra being big referred to his fame. Another way to become bigger is to become taller by standing on a chair. stuff is a vague word, referring to anything. In this context, it means why did you say that to me? (implying that is was a mean thing to say, and why are you being mean?)

Q:I have this really greata office chair that my neighbor was just oging to through out... it has some tears in it ...and i am unsure of how to go about fixing it. the material isn't close enough to stitch... my mom suggested getting a peice of fabric to cover it and stitch that to the chair...i honestly dont care about the looks just that i dont ruin it more... would a regualr needle and thread hold against leather if i just put a peice over it...

As a professional upholsterer I can tell you there is NO easy and effective way to patch/repair leather. There are a lot of repair kits available that promise miracle cures but they will at best do nothing and at worst damage the leather further. Since you don't care about the appearance of the chair, simply remove the damaged leather and replace it. Leather is expensive so you might consider some type of cloth or vinyl. Cloth is softer and more comfortable and will last longer than vinyl, but is easily stained. Vinyl is cheaper than a good grade of cloth and easier to keep clean, but is hot and sticky in the summer and cold and stiff in the winter. This leads to cracks in the vinyl and tears in the seams. This means vinyl will not last as long as cloth. If you do decide to recover the chair then know that no matter what kind of chair it is you can cover it without sewing!!! If it has sewn corners you can replace the sewn seams with creative folding. Place the new material on the chair and simply fold the corners. If anyone you know can wrap Christmas presents they can do this. Once you have the folds right attach that corner to the chair. This works best with cloth. First attach all 4 sides with staples or tacks leaving corners loose. Then do corners. Be sure to stretch the material tight to avoid any wrinkles. Hope this helped. Good luck.

I assume you are talking about renting chairs for the reception, and the answer is, it depends. Each church is different. But usually, if you rent the hall, chairs and tables are included in the price. Otherwise, if you have a caterer, they can arrange for the chairs as well. If you use the church for the ceremony, there will be chairs (of course) in the sanctuary. If you have the ceremony in the reception all, then again, the chairs usually come with the space. If for some reason you have to rent chairs, however, the cost is not too bad. We needed to do it for a big party in my family (not in a church), and the rental company arranged to deliver the chairs and pick them up. I don't remember the price right now, but I remember being surprised at how reasonable it was. There are so many big expenses for a wedding. Chairs are going to be only a minor part. Plasterboard itself is definitely not strong enough to support a hammock chair. However, the plasterboard is likely attached to rafters or joists depending where your room is located. Most would be strong enough to support an additional 100 lbs or so -- especially if you make the attachment fairly close to a wall. You must, however, install the screw hook directly into the center of a joist or rafter truss. To find the location of the joist, you'll need to borrow or buy a good stud finder and learn how to use it. Stud finders can be bought from any good tool department (Home Depot, Lowes, Ace) for around $$30.00. It is a very useful tool to own if you ever hang pictures, towel bars, grab bars, etc.

Q:There seems to be a lingering perception that old folks prefer to relax comfortably in wood rocking chairs, a perception that is perhaps reinforced in films and television shows that depict the characters of older people enjoying their wood rocking chairs. All four of my grandparents and both of my parents prefer the comfort of overstuffed reclining chairs during the final decades of their lives. My siblings and I (we're in our 60's and 70's) also enjoy the comfort of reclining chairs.

I have a wooden rocking chair and I have a recliner that doubles as a rocking chair. I actually sleep in the recliner when my back gives me problems, because its easier getting up in the morning.

But just in case, take some steps. The lift I bought yesterday, I found the kitchen knife in the middle of the chair and the lifter bar, so it's much safer. I do not believe that in the big force can put the stainless steel kitchen knife to wear, pistol bullets are not necessarily worn.

Well, I think the price is OK, you may just want to save up for it, but I'll still try to help: This style of chair is called a papasan chair, I know that Pier One sells them but they're more expensive than the PBTeen model. Probably the only way to get a papasan chair cheaply is to get a used/second hand one. If you want to get one used, you could try Craigslist for your area. I don't know how old you are, so if you are young *ASK PERMISSION FROM YOUR PARENTS* to look at Craigslist online (there can be bad people online there), and if you ever buy anything online through Craigslist *MAKE SURE* someone goes with you if you go to pick it up. If you get a Pier One or used chair, you could make a slipcover for the cushion (in a fabric like the Dottie chair), but in all honesty I would save your time and trouble and buy the PBTeen one. Q:we have these leather chairs in my kitchen and my cat always jumps on the back of this one to get on top of our water cooler cause she likes it up there or whateveranyone know what i could do to like make her stop, cause i have a pillow case over it right now, but that defeats the purpose of having a nice leather chair

There are all sorts of aids available to help train a cat to NOT be someplace. Please look at the links below... one is a double-side sticky tape that you can tape to the chair. Cats hate the stickiness, and will avoid it. When the cat learns to stay off of it, you can remove the tape (it's clear, so it won't look too ugly while you are using it). Another device is a mat of small plastic spikes (they're not SHARP!!! so they won't harm her). There are scat sprays available, which I don't think are very effective. Do you have a cat tree of any sort? Cats WANT to be HIGH, and the back of the chair is a HIGH place. If you can place a cat tree in the area that is even HIGHER, she will naturally go to that instead. If she is SCRATCHING your leather chair, then you need to provide substitute scratching posts and things. If you place one or two scratching posts or other scratching surfaces, she will gravitate to scratching THOSE instead. I know it works! Me… kittyslave23… I know my place.

Sometimes you have to look at what meaning these things have to you. You state that it seats one person (single?) chair covered in silk (softness, luxury) would be taking time to sit and check out a situation. Could you be thinking about a relationship?
