- Yes, a Sawzall (a.k.a. reciprocating saw) has the power to cut through cast iron. Keep in mind it's not the saw that cuts, but the blade. Make sure you use a blade that is rated for cast iron. I'm assuming you plan on trashing the cast iron sections. If not, read further. Cast iron is a brittle metal that can crack easily with too much force or vibration. Let the saw do the work and exert a steady, gentle pressure on it. Even if the pipe is trash, a gentle pressure will actually get you through the pipe quicker than if you bear down on it. Let the tool do the work.

- Get a loaded dervish. It's a little expensive, but it is the the best to ride. It pulls you down into the curves, gets no wheelbite, and is great for pumping. Loaded is better than sector 9 by the way. My first board was a sector 9. Sector 9 does not know how to make boards that are supposed to bend. I still love it, but loaded trumphs it, no doubt. Hope you are planning on bombing some hills.
