Q:I recently made a trade with another airsofter and i found that the shell was missing some ball bearings and the spring was bent. where can I find a replacement for this. I live near carpendersville and there are very few airsoft stores around that i can get to. The shell just releases the gas once i fill to a certain point (like in .25 seconds)
Any 3mm ball bearings will do. You should be able to get them in any worthwhile hardware/engineering store. edit: I double checked for you. If it's a 40mm grenade and has eight ball bearings, then they're definitely 3mm. If it's a 40mm shell with 4 bearings, then you need 4mm bearings. As for springs, one from a clicky pen will work fine. There's a great guide to moscart shells here: www.arniesairsoft .uk/forums/in... You may need to register to view it though.
Q:On a scale of 1-10 how good are abec 3 skateboard bearings?
They can be between a 9 and 10 or they can be a 1. The ABEC number is basically useless for skate bearings. It is related to vibration at very high speeds (over 200 mph on a board). The tight tolerances on the high ABEC ratings can actually slow you down which is why the high end company (Bones, Zero Drag, Twin Cam) all make bearings without any ABEC rating as their top bearings. However, there is a spec called precision that is really sloppy and was in common use before people started getting ABEC 1 bearings for the consistency. The biggest thing that 99% of the people will see as a difference in speed of the bearing is the lubricant that they maker put in the bearings. Grease will be slow at first until it is pushed mostly to the side but it lasts the longest before you need to relubricate or replace the bearings. Oil is the fastest but doesn't last long. Gels are in between in speed and life.
Q:what does ABEC 7 Speedster bearings mean for roller blades?
It basically means nothing. The use of ABEC ratings was an accident in inline skating. It is about bearings used in machinery that runs at extremely high speeds. Nothing about rolling better under the weight load or speeds for inline skating. Some of the bearings used for the early inline skates were so poor that any ABEC rating guaranteed that the bearings were reasonable. Then the manufacturer's got their advertising people into the act by bragging about a number that isn't important or expensive.
Q:For the bearings i was thinking between either super reds or biltins, and for the wheels i was deciding between Ricta white lightning boltz or bones 100's stf. Give your thoughts on which ones are better and even tell me if there are others you can recommend!
lucky bearings and spitfire wheels
Q:skateboard bearings?
bones reds .
Q:So, I guess I need to drop the subframe, crossmember and suspension.I can't get the oil pan out...If you know anything, help!
It's gonna suck...big time. If it's knocking, you'll have to probably pull the crankshaft anyhow......
Q:Bushings and Hardware really doesn't matter, but if you know, please tell me.

Q:here's a link to rush hybrid bearings
dude you know what you need, rush all weather bearings. i got them, and 2 days ago, my board fell in the POOL!!!!!! the whole board sunk! my board is ok amazingly, it was in their for almost like, 2 minutes(its longer then you think), and my bearings are still workin brand new.no rust or anythings. their water and rust proof, their awsome too!!!! but get the rush hybrids if you dont get the ones i just told you about lol. sorry for the whole story ****.
Q:Sup guys, first new thread. Anyways,i have a 2004 Honda 400ex. I noticed the other day that when i get on it and rock from side to side (stationary with engine off) the axle stays still but the rest of the quad moves and clicks sort of. It moves up and down, but not very much from side to side. Probably 1/16 side to side. And about 1/4 to 1/2 up and down. I tried tightening the jam nut or whatever its called (the left hand thread. I dont know as tht i tightened it right). But that did nothing. My rotor also moves front and. Back. I was told i need carrier bearings. I hope not because its wednesday and i have. Planned riding trip this weekend. If it is bearings, can i just tighten the nut and ride, then replace it?
it sounds like carrier bearings. keep your chain adjusted slightly tighter than usual. you can run it some with it that way. stay out of the mud! if you're going for a looong trail ride, you should replace them. also know that if you let them go too long it gets real expensive when you eat into that carrier housing!!! i've ridden many miles on bad bearings, you just have to watch them close and run a bit easier than normal. if at all possible change them before your ride, other wise go easy, have fun!!
Q:I am just putting in new wheel bearings on a utility trailer. I have packed them well with wheel bearing grease, installed new seals and installed it all on the hub. How tight should I put the star nut on? It seems as if one opening for the cotter pin is loose and the next one is quite tight.
That star nut your talking about can be removed from the nut...And is adjustable to fit in the right location. Hand tight While spinning the tire works best for your bearings...
