- Whenever you have a flooding issue, of any kind, always call a professional out. DO NOT USE A RENTAL MACHINE. The rental units do not have the suction that carpet cleaners have. Most of the cleaners have what is called a claw, that presses down on the carpet and the padding to pull the water out. The rental machine only got the surface water. Water stayed in the padding and is allowing bacteria to grow. You carpet might be salvaged if you get a professional out now. They can kill the bacteria and odor, remove the excess water and have blowers to help dry out under the carpet. Good luck

I prefer horses to be a bit warm than cold, as this is more miserable and the horse will need to use so much more energy to keep himself warm - shivering etc, and he could lose weight.

- Oxyclean shoud do it. Next time, let it dry before you try to clean it up...sounds strange, but it can be more easliy scraped off dry and less gets ground into the carpet fibers than it does if you try to wipe it up while it's still wet.

With fire prevention and antifouling characteristics, it becomes the leading product of the carpet in decoration of high class houses.

Every pro does the rinse/extraction process or they would be out of business. My suggestion, replace your carpet, carpet pad. seal the floor where it is contaminated with whatever and start over with new carpet. Have your new carpet professionally cleaned yearly with the hot water extraction process. Carpeting is a big investment, take care of it in the future.
