- Q:I can curl 85lbs on a preacher table, squat 250, 75lbs skull crushers, leg press lbs, but for the life of me I can't bench 160+lbs I don't know why? I'm 26yrs old, 215lbs. I take pre-workout energy drinks, whey protein 2-3 times a day, and nitric oxide pills. I go to the gym 4-5 times a week up to 3 hours. All forms of bench pressing incline, flat, decline. All of which I do pitiful weight..?? I practice, train and no solid results please help. Thanks
- You can't put balance aside, because that's the very thing that separates the two. And your muscles definitely know the difference. The bench press is a free weight exercise, and any free weight exercise is more effective in building muscle for two reasons. One, because it incorporates stabilizer muscles to assist in the movement, meaning more muscles being worked. Two, because the human body responds better to movements it would do naturally. That last part basically means your body grows better when subjected to something heavy, rather than machines, which are merely hard. This isn't to say that you should give up the machine, and it certainly isn't for wusses. Machines force proper form, and isolate the muscle you are trying to work. Do the bench press first in your workout, and the machine press toward the end, when you're tired.
- Q:I had to press 5 different types of leaves from my yard for part of my science project. I put newspaper, then the leaves, then a little more newspaper, then my english textbook, a dictionary, and a gallon of water. I let it sit for a week. My results:Australian bottle tree, Australian willow, kumquat bush, and lemon tree leaves worked perfectly.But... the ficus leaf (still got flattened and everything) is BROWN!What happened?I need to know ASAP so I know if I should try the ficus again or do a different type of leaf. - Ficus plants are always a problem when pressing. The main reason is that they have latex in their tissues and many of them have relatively thick leaves. Not only do they turn brown (or even black) but the leaves usually drop off the stems. There are a few ways to make good Ficus specimens but the ones I've heard of require alcohol (enough to dip the plants in) and you'd need to be able to apply dry heat to your press for a few days at least. So, if you don't HAVE to have a Ficus, use something else (weed from your lawn would be easiest).

- Arbor presses come in all different sizes and ratings. They are rated at different forces measured in TONS. You can use an Arbor press to (typically used for metal fabrication): Assemble Flatten Cut Mark Straighten Broach Punch Stake Pierce Bend I'm sure that there are other uses that you could find for them but these are the most common. - Hey, I guess it due to heavy weight or when you were exercising you didn't warm up at the beginning. This pain might be due to a sprain in your thigh muscles because originally a leg press exercise focuses and puts most of the weight pressure on your thigh muscles. I advise you to skip using it for a day and make sure you run on a treadmill min. 5 minutes before starting other exercises. (And If you wanna do the leg press, just decrease the weight and exercise slowly, don't go to fast.)
- Q:well it seems like press on nails are a lot more affordable and easier to take off. like KISS and Nailene seem good. they are only around $5 and you change them every 2 weeks, wheras acrylics are like $20 and you need to fill them every two weaks and they are harsh on nails.so do you girls think i can do my press on nails on monday, and two weeks from now, on monday take them off and put on a new pair? or should i wait a day? can it work like that?can you reuse them?is this cheaper and better for nails than acrylic?

- push-ups are a great workout and are highly underrated. not many weight lifters do them but they can build serious strength in your chest, triceps, even your neck and upper back.

- first you have to remove the flowers from the bouqet and cutoff the stalks upto half inch of each and every flower and branch and now keep in fresh watered flowervase and also you have to change the water every day . And also check the stalks or stems everyday if they develop any change in its orijinal colour you have to cutoffagain upto half inch as I told before.This keeps your flowers last longtime. you can press the flowers by keeping them between the pages of a book ,but you have to change the flower every day from that page to another. However it takes much time if you want to do it quickly you can press it by keeping hot iron box of it but not directly but you have to put between the two pages and then iron it without much heat.

- Boots Natural collection has a good one, only ?1.99! Bargain! It works really well too, i use it over my higher end foundation, so it's still good for that :) Pressed powder is to do with how it comes in the box, it's not lose bits you can see moving around. Translucent powder has no colour so just literally sets the foundation without adding any layers of makeup or more colour Hope this helps!
