Q:i changed my SF4 stick with a sanwa jlf joystick. it worked fine and all of a sudden my joystick wasnt working so i put back the old stick and still didnt work. im guessing its the wiring that connects to joystick.how do i fix or change the wiring? can i use a jlf 5 pin wiring harness or is there a certan wire i need to buy for the street fighter 4 SE fightstick?
Yes, you can use the jlf 5 wire harness. If i remember correctly it is just a little tricky because only one side has the housing cartridge.
Q:I need a new wiring harness for my rx7 and idk if this one will work?
no, the computers in those 2 cars are different. the are 2 diff. generations of rx7s. in order to use a wireing harness for a diff generation car/motor the car must have the motor/ecu to match the wireing harness. hope this helps.
Q:i got a 95 civic and a panasonic cq-11oou stereo.can some one please tell me which wires to connect together cause i cant get it right
did u get the wiring harness for ur vehicule? that would be the better way to do it! or u will need a multimeter to do it! if the manufacture's wire harnees has been cut, try with a multimeter, and a tester lamp. morcego!
Q:i recently aquired an alpine cde-9843 for my truck (2003 dodge ram 1500). the truck currently has the stock headunit installed, i am looking for a wiring schematic for the alpine and my truck so i can connect the wires
For the best answers, search on this site
Q:am not talking about the factory wiring harness i am talking about the wiring harness used to connect the factory wiring and a new stereo? i am trying to connect the 12v switched wire to a remote power supply to my amplifier?
Generally these after market adapters are color coded the same, and the switched 12v supply wire is blue (dark blue w/ a silver stripe on mine, labeled power antenna lead). At least that's what color mine was in my 00 Civic harness when I connected my amp. For additional switched power supply (if you need it) you could use a fuse tap, and tap the ACC fuse in the fuse block. Only do this if you run out of other options though. I had to use this method when connecting my CD changer, which also required a switched 12v supply.
Q:I have a 1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria with the Premium sound package. I went to the local audio shop and they don't know what wiring harness I should use. It says for 1983-89 Crown Victoria or 1990-91 LTD Crown Victoria so it leaves mine out. Any advice?
Get a wiring harness from the internet. There are tons out there and it will probably be cheaper than buying one from a store. If you don't know how to wire it yourself make sure you have a shop do it unless you can find a wiring diagram. Another solution is that some shops can use the wires that already come from the back of the radio and wire it into a jimmy rigged wiring harness. It would work just a well, but you have to know what you're doing to make it work. I would stay away from those wireless radio transmitters. They are buggy and not worth it. Worst case scenario, upgrade your head unit. You can get decent ones for a few hundred bucks or less, and it would be way easier to hook up auxilliary sources.
Q:I decided I wanted subs n my friend has them so I figured I'd let him do it since he had some experience well we took the stereo out and get ended up cutting the stereo wiring harness to the stock stereo there were 18 wires, majority were to the speakers, they ended not needed to b cut at all well I decided to ditch the subs but now what do I do I have no stereo or music would a professional be able to fix it, he tried to but now it sounds like crap I can't even blare it even a little with out it crackling or rattling I jus want it back to normal
I'm a little confused because of how you worded it, but If i'm correct, I think your problem is that you cut the normal cables that connect to the stereo. Either way, You can always reconnect the cables you cut by crimping them (Google it if you don't know what that is) by using crimp caps or splice connector caps It's really not that hard, the only pain in the *** would be crimping them in the location where the stereo goes because the cables can't come out of the car. You also said it was a stereo wiring harness, so the harness should be able to come out of the stereo. Just crimp/reconnect the cables together and it should sound like usual and start over from there. If you bought a aftermarket stereo, then you should get a vehicle specific stereo harness (like honda civic, lexus blah blah blah), attach it to your normal stereo harness and attach wires by color to color (grey to grey, white to white, purple to purple you know)
Q:hey i might have a 4.0l ranger engine to drop in to my 3.0l ranger. mines a 99 with a 5spd manuel. and what i want to know is, can i bolt up a 4.0l with the 3.0l wirring harness? and the new motor is from a 97 ranger. thanks guys
No. Even if the wiring harness was the same, which isn't too likely, your ECM is calibrated for the 3.0L.
Q:I have a 09 subaru forester nonnav standard audio package, looking to replace the stereo with an after market one. I bought the harness and I was curious if im better off sudering the wires or just splicing them together and using electrical tape? Or crimping them. Any suggestions?
Maybe do the best thing for later if you want to sell the car, so its easy to install the standard deck back? Just a tip :)
Q:I have a Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD and I want to know if the same wiring harness will work with any of the AVIC series OR do I need get a new harness?
see if all the colors match, a wiring harness is only like 15 bucks anyway just stop bein cheap
