The head unit however, will have a lead usually marked as such and sometimes terminated with a female bullet connector. Just connect that lead to the remote wire going to your amp remote terminal. If the Blazer wiring harness includes a dimmer lead, connect the orange/white to it. If not, just leave it disconnected and protect the end so that it does not short against other wires or ground. With it disconnected, the receiver lighting will not dim when you turn on the lights.

Q:I want to put 9006 6000K HID Kit I can install it myself I just don't understand the whole 55 Watts and 100 Watts thing.I need to know if my car can handle the HIDs without the Wire harness and relay. According to what I have heard the Wire harness and Relay are used if there isn't enough power to fire up the HID ballasts. If there is not enough power the Ballasts begin to fail. Do I need the Wire Harness and Relay for my 96 Honda Accord?: Sounds like someone's trying to sell you stuff you don't need. I had mine installed (can't do anything that technical myself), and whatever I gave them, is what they used. For sure no additional wire harness, aside from what was in the kit.
