- reese products carries a taillight converter with a four blade flat connector part number 118130. you can go to advance auto parts and they should have it in stock or they can get it in a day or two. the package should have instructions on how to wire it into your factory wiring. If your trailer does not have the flat four blade hookup then advace should have some sort of conversion for the trailer hookup as well. You still need the converter though to start with.
- Q:I am trying to install an Aiwa CDC-X217 in-dash cd receiver in a 1994 Honda Accord. Does anyone know where i can buy the proper wire harness? I can't seem to find one specific for the accord. - You can pick up a wiring harness specific to your vehicle at Autozone for around 10 bucks. They also carry them at most Wal-Mart locations as well. All you have to do is ask the clerk at autozone, and he will set you up, it's a really straight forward process, and easy to locate, I would advise you not to buy this online, because of compatibility issues, if they send you the wrong one, you have to mail it back and wait by your mailbox for another 2 weeks for the new one, if you go get it in person, you can see it for yourself, it will tell you right on the package that it fits your vehicle, the same is true for the mounting kit which you can also get at Autozone for about 10-12 bucks. With any luck you could be hookng up your stereo in not time, the wiring harness comes with a guide to tell you exactly where to connect each wire to your radio, it will be color coded and labeled. - Would not recommend this. The rubber in tubes is not oil, gas, or heat resistant. Wire loom is cheap and available at most auto stores.

- As long as you have basic knowledge of soldering and you are working on wires that aren't connected to the power you should be fine. You could use shrink wraps to re-insulate the wires. The new insulation should last for years, all depends on what kind of atmospheric or mechanical conditions apply to your harness.
- Q:I am installing a trailer hitch on my van. Is the plug for the trailer lights already under the van or do i need to wire it? If not, do i just have to go to the dealer and get a plug for the wiring harness or do I have to go from scratch and hardwire it? Thanks
