Q:what is the best cheapest most inexpensive sound damping deading insulation for auto?
i think what would happen is it might affect the taste of the tomatoes, but that rarely happens we have aluminum pans in our school and we are prohibited on boiling anything acidic in it such as milk and tomatoes and vinegar but because some people don't listen, they still do it sometimesno one dies and no one gets sick even if some people do thischeck your foil if there are any wholes as the acid might dissolve the aluminum.if there is none thet it is most likely safe.
Q:I live alone and want to hide my small safe with a bunch of cash in it? Where? My main attic has white blown in insulation.would a theif take time to look there? or attic in garage?
I would have to say the attic, but don't make it obvious by having a visible safe thereI'd say behind the wallsMy house was burglarized and the thieves searched every closets and under clothes (I'm sure for money)They went through the glass door in the basement (so no basement for hiding cash!)The attic was safe only because it is the last place anyone goes toI lived in this house for about 2 years, yet my self nor other people in the house have never even been in the attic, can you believe that? We never bothered going up thereWe didn't have time to nor do we have a walk-up ladderI'm sure thieves don't have time to be going up an atticThieves are quick moversThey were able to walk out of my house with a 52 flat screen TV!
Q:I have a beautiful asian patterned silky fabric that I want to incorporate into invitations for a bridal showerIs there anything I can use to make is sturdy? I tried finding a thin cardboard that I could wrap it around and then attach the invitation in the middle to make the fabric the border but I couldn't find anything that was thin but sturdy enough? Anyone have any ideas?
That all depends on what size you want to make your blanketThere are many different sizes, as you have seen when you looked in the storesThey have different purposesAs for how much yarn you need, that also depends on what yarn you are using and what stitch pattern you will useThat's why that gauge swatch is so very importantMake a square in the pattern you are usingThis is good for learning the pattern to see if you like it, and to get some practiceBut you will see how much yarn you use for that size (measure the area)Then you can calculate how much you will need for the size of blanket you will want to makeYou can measure by weight or lengthYes, you can rip out your sample - it does not waste the yarn! Every good designer always makes the gauge swatchIt's a necessary part of every project.
Q:If it is always humid and hot outside would a whole house fan be required?
You should get a steel hat, not an aluminum one.
Q:I want to crochet a blanket, but I'm afraid that the yarn will be itchyI know that I can buy expensive soft yarn but thats too expensive lolSo Do u guys think if I was to put the finished blanket in the washing machine with a lot of fabric softener it would make it softer? help plz :)
If you put wool in the washing machine its likely to felt - dont use wool you can use acrylic yarn which is more easily machine washed you can even buy really soft fleece yarn - I think its called fleecie.
Q:So I pretty much have all of the stitches down, I know how to read patterns and which hooks and all the other stuff that goes with knitting and crochetingBut all of my stuff comes out so stiff!!! I try to make a slouchy beanie, and when I put them on, they stick straight up! I end up looking like Marge Simpson! Does anyone out there know of any other yarn that I can use besides the crappy quot;Red Heart Super Saverquot; yarn? Yes it's very cheap and you can pick it up at Wal-Mart at any time of the night, but I would gladly take the time to go out and look for soft, less scratchy, loose yarn and doesn't (for lack of a better term) suckAnd by the way, I'm still unfamiliar with the terms quot;worsted weight, alpaca, wool, etc.quot; I really don't know the differenceI would love some advice )
If you wind the ball tight, as in it is a rock hard, then yes it will damage the yarnIf wound in a loose ball, then no, it will do no more damage than when it was in the skeinIt will be fine.
Q:If u studied yarns and fabrics without first understanding fiber properties, what difficulties would you pos?
Plastic bottles apparently leaves some sort of residue in the water (I haven't done research on it yet, but I have heard about it)And I believe it only becomes a problem if you intend to use the same plastic bottle continuously.
Q:Thank you for taking your time to read this.I have a large attic/loft Space with literally nothing in itI know i can get a grant for the insulation, so that isn't a problemBut how much would it cost to have velux windows put in, (my dad is a skilled builder so i could get him in if it works out cheaper) to have a floor, because at the moment there are just joists and anything else i would definitely needI want a a cheap as possible bedroom up there so if there are any ideas you have to save money please tell me.
Use bridge networking as opposed to NAT (that you probably have set up as it is a default option)
Q:What is something you can twist to make intricate paterns?
I used to smoke and they were Camel Turkish Gold however before that I was a Marlboro girlIn the end I was paying almost $5 per packI quit cold turkey a few years ago because of health reasonsDo what you need to do.
Q:the hair im going to put on mine is yarnhow do it keep it onif i have to use glue what glue holds it on the best?????
you sew the right sides of the doll head fabric together ( wrong side of fabric will be facing out) leaving an opening in the very top of the head and at neck openingTurn fabric right side out , insert yarn you are using in top of head and then hand stitch the head opening closedThis is one way to do it.
