Q:i play pokemon diamond but i don't have a wifi so i want to buy USB wi-fi connector for DS game boy how much is it,
40 to 70 dollars.
Q:I have bought a TV and DVD player. The instructions say that the two should be connected using an RCA cable. Is there anything special about an RCA cable or it just a cable with phono connectors. I have connected the two together using cables with phono connectors, connecting the Y, Pb and Pr connections on the TV and DVD player but I can only get the sound and no picture. I would be grateful for any help, thanks.
In standard RCA cables the video connection is always the yellow one. The Red and White are the audio. The Y, Pb and Pr are three cables for the video only and usually used to transmit a higher definition picture or signal. It is easier to just use the Red, White and Yellow RCA Cables. If this is an up-converting HD DVD player you will sacrifice some of the picture quality. If it is a traditional DVD player than don't worry about it. If you are not getting a picture then plug one of the cables into the yellow port on the DVD player and into one of the yellow ports on the TV (make sure you switch the TV input to what ever video (yellow) port you selected, such is Video1, Video2, etc. The cable you choose doesn't matter as long as each end of it are in the yellow ports on both the TV and the DVD player.
Q:I bought a role of cat 5 to run my telephone lines, now I need to make one cable that runs to a spare bedroom directly from my router to my computer, what's the cheapest way to do this? I've seen wall plates at radioshack but they were $10 bucks! crimp tools aren't cheap either, don't they have just a couple of cat5 connectors that snap on like a line tap or something?

Q:I have a 89 sable 3.8and have a trouble code that reads SPOUT circuit open. What does that mean and how do I fix it?
Should be on the wiring harness coming off the distributor. Basically, what the SPOUT is is an electrical connector. Usually you pull the plug out of the end of the connector to set the static ignition timing, then you put the plug back into the connector. So I'm assuming that yours is missing. You can get one at the junkyard/ you-pull-it places.
Q:Here is what I am trying to doI have a Nintendo that uses RCA (red, yellow, white) cables to hook into the back of the TV. I am also, simultaneously, trying to connect it to a video camera. The video camera has RCA inputs. I went out and bought an RCA cable with piggyback functions. I have the Nintendo going in to the new cable, and the cable going in to the video camera. This allows me to see video and hear music through the camera. I then use another RCA cable to piggyback from the cables in the camera to the TV. I get nothing on the TV. I've tried everything. I need to get a signal on the TV and the video camera simultaneously. What am I doing wrong? Please help!
You need to go from the game machine, if you have connector on the back of the machine, get a Y connector, with two wires, one to the camera and one to the TV Going from the machine to the camera will not work. two sources from the machine are needed. Would have been easier to go from machine to DVD recorder to TV. Once DVD finalized, insert DVD in computer, explore, convert VTS_01_1, VTS_2. to something your editing software can use.
Q:Am located in India. I have a dell inspiron laptop and an old AIWA tv. I got a VGA to RCA connector which outputs through 3 pins ( red, gree, blue ).My laptop's VGA output port is of 15 pins( 5 pins 3 rows ), commonly known as - DE15F.Once I log into Windows vista in my laptop, i connect the cable to my TV, which has 3 inputs ( red, yellow and white ). I put the red pin in the red input and gree/blue pin to the yellow input and blue/green to the white input. The moment I do this, the display resolution in my laptop switches from 1024x768 to 800x600 automatically and I get a very hazy, happ-hazzered black and white display in my TV. Is this a problem because am using an obsolete TV ? Do I need to do something in my laptop to get this fixed ?
it sounds more like an issue with the cable, when i used S-video to RCA it was black and white due to a problem with the cable
Q:Iam not that good at computers xD, as i want to buy amd r9 280x gpu and yeah, will this power supply be enough??
Yes it will be enough. Trust Corsair products.
Q:I just literally unboxed my PSU about 10 minutes ago. I found out that my 24 pin ATX power connector has a missing pin. Which I heard is normal, but is that an issue since Mobo's need 24 pins? Not only that I am missing pinouts from the pci-e cables, the peripheral connectors, and thes Sata power connectors. But here is the thing, these are all the end connectors that plug into the PSU, the cables that plug into the mobo, aren't missing any. Except the 24 pin power, which is missing one.Is this an issue? should I send an RMA? I would test it, but not all my parts are ordered. Thanks, help needed.FYI, it is a Corsair HX650w. And my motherboard will most liklely be an Asus P8z77-v, if I get that one
about the 24 pin i shall explain that motherboards dating back 1989 to 1999 may need the 24 pin this pin is now obsolete in the new motherboards its not needed anymore so the z77 wont need this pin at all if there are some pins missing there will be a good reason for it either they are obsolete or no longer in use
Q:I destroyed the spade connector pulling off the bad heating element. Now I have to put one back on and dont know if I can just solder one on or do I need to braze it on? Since the spade connector and wire will end up being buried the the insulation behind the rear of the oven I'm thinking solder would be ok, but not sure of the type to use. Any help would be appreciated.
Mark, conventional solder will melt at the temperature of the oven element. I have the same problem with a two burner stove top. The spade connector was spot-welded on, and separated. The end of the element was not smooth enough to clamp a high temperature spade lug on it from the appliance parts store, and I don't have a spot welder. Brazing with a torch would be much better, but I don't know about the electrical conductivity of a braze weld. Around here, we use coat hanger wire, it makes a great braze, works well on radiators, but with all my electrical experience I don't know about the electrical conductivity of the repair. My vote for a solder joint would be silver solder, it melts at a higher temperature, and silver is a good conductor. Better call a local electrical repair company (electrical contractor), and ask to speak to the owner, they will always talk to you. This is not a repair job he would ever get, so he may help you out of the kindness of his heart, it happens in my town. I'm good, but he is better, try to get some help from him, and be sure to tell him the two options I gave you.
Q:i have a 97 srad and there is a wire connector under the fairing on the left side of the bike by the seat. it has three black wire on each side the connector melted. why would this happen? would it be ok to splice the wires together?
probably the wire was rubbing untill the insulation was gone and exposed the wire causing a short, you can cut and splice but do it with male female connectors so you can dis connect if you need to.
