Q:Do you like Sharks? Why.?
How could you not like sharks......They are the perfect predator.......Rows and rows of razor sharp teeth that continuously replenish themselves. What does that tell you? However, they scare the crap out of me.........Only because of their awesome advantage when in the ocean. However, sharks are not invincable, dolphins, and Orcas have been known to kill sharks. Other sharks also kill sharks.........that is wierd!!!!!! But, when you think about the shark they are an incredable creature......First they have no bones......their skeleton is made up of nothing more than cartilage, no air bladder as in fish.......they have to constantly keep swimming in order to not sink.........Think of you trying to stay in 10 feet of water for 2 days..........They also need to keep moving in order to breath..........Look at a sharks mouth........Nothing more to say there............ Most attacks on humans by sharks are on surfers........I have seen vids from under the water of a surfer........Looks very much like a seal, a natural prey for the shark....... There are unprovoked attacks on humans by sharks, but for crying out loud, we are in there domain where they rule........... Sharks are awsome, but also very scarry at the same time. There are only two creatures on this planet that really freak me out, the first is the croc, and the second, is none other than the shark!!!!!!! Now you my answer!!!!!!!!
Q:Hello everyone,I was wondering which automatic in ground pool vacuum is good for cleaning?I am looking for something cheap and reliable, anyone have any experience with some good vacuum cleaners which does the job. Thanks,Jessica
i own a pool company and your better automatic pool vaccums would be either a polaris or a creepy crawly but you can get them cheaper online then in a pool store. look under pool companies
Q:For a school project, I need to know the most common and annoying problems that you people are facing with vacuum cleaners. Try to be creative and just write whatever comes to your mind. Thanks ppl :D
hair gets in the beater bearings and brushes and jams and burns up the belt. The other is I can't find bags for an expensive sears vacuum.
Q:Any one have any idea what it is or how much it will cost to have it repaired. (VA./ D.C. area)
All Miele vacuum cleaners have an over-heating sensor built in. It should activate, shutting off the power, when the motor gets too hot. Usually this happens because there is a clog in the hose or the vacuum itself, which causes the motor to overheat. Disconnect the suction hose. Turn the vacuum on. Put your fingers over the intake. If it feels like the suction is great and the motor sound happy, reconnect the hose. If the motor sounds unhappy (whining, grumbling, acting like this is hard work), you have a clog. Either take it to a vacuum repair shop or research vacuum clog and take it from there. (A coat-hanger often works).
Q:Not sure which brand I should bite the bullet on
I okorder , I called up because a buddy of mine actually told me he went into their store and got a discount and got $150 off for calling up. Had it the next day in CT at $949 flat. Definitely would recommend Miele though. Germans always make the best
Q:How many vacuum cleaners do you have?
3...and two additional for outside = 5
Q:and which is best
I like the bagged cleaners best, they are not near as messy to clean when full.
Q:Hey people, please help me if you know anything about vacuum cleaners....I put a new bag in it, but it has no suction and its not spinning when I turn it over, could it be the belt or what?!?!
first check the attachments, if you don't have suction, then the machine is clogged, if you have a shop vac or another vacuum you can use its attachments to try and pull the clog back out the way it came in ( sometimes you can use a broom stick to push a clog out but you need to be careful not to tear the hose ). If you have suction and the brush roll doesn't turn than the belt is broken or stretched out ( they should be changed every six months to a year ) consult the owners manual on how to change the belt, or take it to a vacuum shop most can change the belt on the spot for pretty cheap.
Q:.......towards vacuum cleaners and hair dryersWhat can I do!?!?I've had her for 2 years and I tried to rehome her a year ago because I moved to a place that didn't allow pets.Well the people brought her back so now I am having to keep her secret from my landlord. But she is aggressive towards vacuum cleaners and hair dryers now!!!She ripped our vacuum cleaner apart. Tore off the hoses and the filters. One day I was hair drying my hair and she came running into the bathroom and howling, she snatched the hair dryer from me and started biting and chomping it.She's never acted this way before, what can I do??She's not aggressive to animals and is very timid around people and other dogs. She's not food aggressive and she's very intelligent. But now we have to replace our vacuum and we have to lock her in the back bedroom when we are vacuuming and she will tear down the door and rip up the carpet trying to get to it. She acts this way even when the vacuum is not turned on so we have to lock it inside a closet.
You can try to associate the vacuum cleaner with good things. When dog is aggressive towards the vacuum, gain control of the dog. You may want to put a leash on her. Get her calm, even if for only a moment and give her a treat. After a little while, she will associate the vacuum cleaner with positive feelings. Check out Victoria Stillwell for this type of training. She makes it seem quite simple.
Q:I'm afraid of spiders, but not arachnophobic (if that's a word). Mainly since there are the brown-recluse spiders so I'm more paranoid it's them in my house.I tried to catch it, but I would probably get yelled at for catching spiders with a plastic bowl and I'm too freaked out to try and catch the speedy little thing. I ended up vacuuming it up with a small vacuum and not sure what to do next. I heard it can escape so I'm not sure if i should carry the vacuum up and see a spider pop out.I'm not a tech-expert, but the vacuum has a plastic container holding all the dust and even the spider. I heard it can live and no bug spray is around the house to kill it. What should I do? I don't want it running around bent on revenge (kidding there, but the presence of spiders still get me.) I need to clean the house too upstairs. Should I keep vacuuming and hope it goes away, empty it asap? (I'll have to reach up into the container though...)
Arachnophobic, and being afraid of spiders is the same thing. What makes this a baseless and irrational fear, is that there is 'no reason' to fear spiders. Yes, brown recluse spiders do exist. Weather you will ever see one is up to debate. Without knowing where you live, I can't indicate that possibility. The recluse is not really a 'speedy' spider, and people have been known to catch them by hand. (just don't try it) Modern vacuum cleaners have a dirt valve(flap) that would likely keep the spider from escaping, and especially while using it. You should take the vacuum outside to empty it though. While emptying, the only way the spider can bite you is if you grab it or trap it in your hand. I wouldn't worry about the spider, and just go ahead and clean the house. And no, you don't swallow spiders in your sleep.
