- Q:Why so cold the dog also like to sleep on the floor
- Three months of the dog is best to keep warm, if the vaccine is also OK, otherwise it is easy to cause a cold and cause dog disease or other symptoms! It is recommended that you buy a cage to sleep at night to keep him up, the sound into the museum called the tortoise both turtle do not let him in the bite of the wind, must pay attention to warm! Be careful, I have suffered in this respect! If adult, he was no problem sleeping on the floor!
- Q:How can I simplify the floor function?
- n = floor of x x = any real number = 0 % = modulus (remainder of the division between the two numbers) n = x - x%1 Example: x = 2.3 2.3 - (2.3 % 1) 2.3 - 0.3 2 This won't work for negative numbers, as the floor of -2.3 = -3. This logic will result in -2, which is the ceiling of -2.3. EDIT: I saw Ben's answer, and checked google for what mod of -2.3 would be, and it does say 0.7. My first test was with the windows calculator, and it gave me -0.3 as the mod. So as long as the mod gives a positive number, the mod method would work for all values. If it returns with windows calculator does, it would only work for positive numbers. Thank you M$ for giving us a bugged up calculator :)
- Q:how long should u wait befor replacing desks and other heavy items on freshly waxed tile flooring?
- That depends pretty much on the drying time of the wax that you just applied. If you don't have any of the instructions for that, I'd personally wait about 1 - 1 1/2 hrs. before putting anything of any real weight back on the floor. That should be a safe bet.
- Q:how do i pull up a linoleum square floor?
- Lay whatever kind of heat you can on top to soften the adhesive and release the tiles so you can pull them up. After that, you may have to do some heavy scraping. I've done that and it isn't pleasant, but it eventually gets what you want. A good solid scraping tool and a heat gun are good tools to have. A propane torch with a flame spreader tip works good, but don't go wild with the flame. You only want to soften things, not bubble up the adhesive and light the fumes.
- Q:Home decoration when the wood floor below to put the camphor powder or camphor wood decay?
- Or put a good point, the block and the powder will be the general decoration of the city where there are places to sell the floor, or you go to OKorder up to buy, buy block, then the side of the ditch Block, the price will be ten dollars. Generally 5 to 7 put a flat. Put more and nothing.
- Q:Help with laying vinyl flooring?
- You were fortunate to have armstrong perimeter glued product installed. So yes the floor would be in good enough condition. Some must do's These are important for warranty and longevity of your vinyl floor. Floor needs to be extremely smooth not to show through residental vinyl with its sheen. Use Portand cement products only they are good moisture resistors. I personally use ardex feather finsh it is very strong and will spread very nicely. Spread the ardex over all joints in the floor and where old glue was scraped. It dries in about 1/2 hour, using a fan to quicken the drying process. When dry sand ridges smooth and then do a very good sweep. Using a hand broom to make sure the floor is clean, I also use a joiny knife to scrap across the floor to make sure no old staples in the floor have started to rise up. Vinly is suppossed to be rolled with a 75 to 100 lb roller but if you use a wet rag and start pushing out air from center to edges you will acheive a good enough bond. A 1/4 piece of rice would look like a mountain under the vinyl. Anything larger than a grain of sand can be seen under the right lighting conditions so again smoothness is key. Good Luck Im sure you will be happy with your acheivement.
- Q:any estimates for water buckled floor?
- First off, we need some details. Is this a floor covering that is buckling? (As in laminate flooring) Or is this the sub-floor that is buckling? (Generally particle board, OSB, or plywood, found under vinyl flooring, carpet, or other floor covering). Dimensions? (How much of the floor is buckling?) There is the off chance, also, that you have a warped floor joist. How much it is going to cost will depend on which problem you've got, what kind of floor covering, and material & labor rates in your area. OSB sub-flooring in my neck of the woods is running about $13 for a sheet of 3/4 x 4'x8'. Plywood of the same thickness and size is running about $32 per sheet. This could turn into a major problem, if you let it go. Mold can set in, and then you'd have a really nasty problem. By the way, that leak from the air conditioner was probably from dirt in the drain line. It needs to be cleaned out, or replaced, before running the AC. Without those details, we can't very well give even a rough guess at the expense to repair it. Call some local flooring contractors to come out and give you some estimates. Ask for, AND CHECK, their references. Good Luck Additional: Ok, I've checked back 3 times now, and still don't see any additional information. So my best advice with the limited details we have here, is to call in the flooring contractors as stated above. Have Fun
- Q:best way to wash lamnate floors?
- The treatment needed for different types of floors is very different. For safety it is most important to ensure the floor is not left even slightly wet after cleaning or mopping up. Sawdust is used on some floors to absorb any liquids that fall rather than trying to prevent them being spilt. The sawdust is swept up and replaced each day. This was common in the past in pubs and is still used in some butchers and fishmongers. It used to be common to use tea leaves to collect dirt from carpets and remove odours. Nowadays it is sill quite common to use diatomaceous earth, or in fact any cat litter type material, to remove infestations from floors. There are also a wide variety of floor cleaning machines available today such as floor buffers, automatic floor scrubbers and sweepers, and carpet extractors that can deep clean almost any type of hard floor or carpeted flooring surface in much less time than it would take using a traditional cleaning method.
- Q:Explain sea-floor spreading.?
- Sea-floor spreading occurs at two diverging plate boundaries. Sea-floor spreading results in the Mid-Ocean Ridge. The Mid-Ocean Ridge is created when two diverging plates have allowed magma from the earth’s interior to push through the cracks between these plates. The new magma pushes old and hardened rock that was once magma, out of the way, making a ripple like mountain range in the deepest parts of the ocean. This process is called sea-floor spreading.
- Q:Tiling the kitchen floor?
- It is much easier to install the tile floor if the base cabinets are not in. As a tile installer, I have done it both ways. Either way is fine though, it is more a matter of aesthetic preference. The downside of installing the tile first is that more tiles are needed.
