Keep in mind that my car does need new tires. Does this sound like a bad transmission problem or something minor?

Q:My 2000 Toyota Celica GT has a check engine light on it. I took it to an auto parts store and had it scanned. It gave me the following codes:P0300 - Random Misfire DetectedP0302 - Cylinder 2 Misfire DetectedP0171 - System Too Lean (Bank 1)I put fuel injector cleaner in it today, as well as cleaned the MAF sensor. But now we no longer know exactly which sensor to change. I know its in the pan, because they suggested changing the filter at the same time, since they had to remove the pan anyways. I‘ve looked for any and all sensors, but none that i have seen seem to fit the description of a fluid sensor. Which sensor is the likely culprit? Any help would be appreciated.

Find a better mechanic. You need to get codes scanned or don't bother firing the parts cannon at that transmission. AutoZone's scanners may not be good enough to pull codes for you, though, so just find a better shop.

that is usually caused by failure of you oxigen sensor (o2 sensor) on your exaust manifold replace sensor cost is not too high sensors range from 80 to 120 dollars shoul not cost lot in labor less than 30 minutes.

The instrument panel lights and tail lights are both part of the same electrical circuit. When your automatic start system was installed, the installer probably tapped into your taillight circuit for a hot lead. It is probable that something in your automatic start system is shorting out the power source for your instrument panel tail lights, causing them to fail. Have a competent mechanic check out your wiring.
