3-4 different cat fish should be a nice help for a 10 gallon tank. Aside from that pull them out and wash them inbetween cleanings. Don't put snails in your tank-they multiply to quick.

it is likely an O2 sensor (Oxygen sensor), in which case wont do much.. you will get less gas mileage (not much less). The only thing would be when you go to get it inspected, you would have to fix it to make it pass inspection. Emissions systems don't do much to affect the performance, the cumputer will just over correct the fuel air mixture with more fuel (thus wasting more gas). So, in short, don't worry too much about it. Edit: it is possible that bad gas would cause the sensors to read out of range, but in that case you would also notice a difference in performance. I would do what Steve O said, go to an auto parts store and they can put the scanner on it to read the codes, most do that for free.

Q:61K on the odo., gas cap securely set, used only supreme fuel, auto zone code P 0171. The guy told me that O2 sensors last around 50K mi., and that if I replace it, the computer would anyway had to be reset. Car works OK. Any clues ?

No way. It takes a great deal more skills to safely operate a motorcycle. It takes a great deal of focus and attention to the road to stay safe on a motorcycle. Cars are much easier. Why are you having a hard time focussing while driving?

Q:I have to put my key in the little keyhole next to the gearshift to get it to reverse. My brake lights don‘t come on but my headlights do. Any idea what could be causing this? Thanks for any help.

The way the shift interlock on your car works is that for the control to know that you have your foot on the brake in order to take the car out of Park, the system looks to 'see' if the brake lights are on. So the inop brake lights are the reason you can't take it out of Park without using the emergency key release. In almost 100% of the cases, the problem is with the brake light switch. It is at the top of the brake pedal lever under the driver's side of the dash. if you look under the dash and follow the brake pedal up to the top you'll see it. You'll need to have that switch replaced. You should be able to buy the switch at any auto parts store; they are usually about $20. If you are going to have someone else do the repair, call around and ask for quotes to replace the brake lamp switch. Hope that helps

Your probably looking at one of two certain repairs either an O2 sensor has gone out or the TBS or Idle pull off sensor ( basically the electronic version of a choke but not exactly sure what the sensor is called but it is on the opposite side of the throttle body) the most expensive repair is the TBS sensor at around 85 for the part plus labor, but as someone else mentioned you can run it by an Autozone for an OBD check for the code and they can tell you what it means. Codes for O2 sensor usually involve running rich or lean on Bank 1 or Bank2 codes for TBS sensor usually state low voltage or high voltage

Q:My Venture Van ran out of gas yesterday, I put gas in and now it runs fine, but the service engine soon light is on It doesnt need oil and the coolant level is fine, what could be causing this or how do i reset the system to turn the light off?

what i would do on this one is find someone with a power bleeder. it installs over the master cylinder. it has a tank on it that contains brake fluid. it used air pressure to push more fluid into the system. what you do is hook it up and open all the bleeders on all 4 tires. and let the power bleeder push all the old and contaminated fluid out. this should take care of the problem without having to replace everything. good luck

For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/awknG You have a blown fuse or a bad headlight switch. bust out your owners manual, look for the fuse section locate the panel and the fuse number for 'dash lights' Pull it out and look if the core is broke in half. If so, that's your problem. If it's not broke, then you might have to have the dealer replace your headlight switch Assembly.
