Honda Helix: Where does the ruber tube off the carb go?
The hose you speak of is a vent hose for the carburetorIt hangs freely going down to the ground - keep it away from the muffler in case some gas were to leak outThe hose has a T fitting to keep the hoses tightly routed - the other end of the T connects to a pipe on the other side of the carburetorI didn't hear any popping or backfiringHondas have an air cut valve on the carburetor, to prevent backfiring on decelerationClean it (blow through all passageways in the valve, where is attaches to the carb) and inspect it's operationIf the problem persists, the fuel mixture screw will have to be adjusted to allow more fuel into the mixtureThe air cut valve is on the top, left, rear corner, of the carburetorIt's aluminum colored, 2 screws holding the top cover onWhen you open the cover, be careful not to lose the spring and little O-ringCheck that all hoses are attached to it.
I made a cake for a party tomorrow night I was wondering if I should store it in the refrigeratorI put a lot of work into the decorating, so I didn't really want to cover it with plastic wrap or anythingDo you think it would be okay just sitting in the fridge on a plate? I was thinking of leaving it out, but I'm afraid that might make the icing melt or make the cake go staleLol, this is the first time I've baked a cake that wasn't getting eaten right away, so I'm a little confused :)
well its a good idea to put it in the fridge but maybe you could put aluminium foil on it? like make sure the foil it attached to the edge of the plate but put a large amount so it doesnt toouch the cakeif not, you could lighty put the foil on it and if you can touch up any decorations if anything gets a little messed up?

It will get softer with normal use and washingThere is no need for hair conditionerIt is an acrylic fiber and will be unaffected by itJust some downy to help with static and you'll be fineIt's the chemicals and excess dyes that make it stiff and as they wash out, the yarn becomes soft (but they will not fade).
It was in a pan with 3 layers of aluminum foil covering it

Depends on what size hook you plan to useThe thicker the yarn - the bigger hook needed And as Mrs Bear said - the fiber matters as wellBest thing to do is get some yarn of your choice and experiment by making a swatch of different thicknesses and hooksI would say - from long being a knitter and crocheter - that of medium weight - no more than two strands would be needed for an afghan or throwYou do intend to wear clothes under it, don't you?
