can you recycle a vacuum cleaner?
- yes you can and it would be a great help to your community bring them to a place that fixes vacuum cleaners and ask them if they will fix it and then donate it to a poor family how can they say no if they do say no.take the vacuum and bring it somewhere else and never recommend that guy for any service to anybody and be sure to let him know that.s
Have a Eureka Whirlwind vacuum, when i use the hose dust shoots from the hole you take the hose from..help?
- My Panasonic did the same thing when I pulled the hose a little to far one day. So, duct tape, duct tape, duct tape! And now it works fine. Looks silly, though, but who cares, so long as it works? That was the hole at the back, where the hose enters the machine; if it is the hole at the side where the hose stays when not in use, you have a clog that forces the dirt back out. So if you aren't adept at disassembling vacuum cleaners, have it checked if it's worth it to you. If not, a decent vacuum can be had for under $200.00.s
Vacuum will not turn off?
- that suckss
- I LOVE mine! I had a Kirby for a few years and was never all that thrilled with it. I was always told those were one of the best vacuums you could buy (I would hope so for the amount of money I spent for it). I went and bought a Dyson Animal and am soooooo much happier with it. I am constantly recommending it to people. In fact, my boss actually had me order one for him since I talked about it so much! :o) My favorite part about the Dyson is how you can see how well its working by how often you have to empty the collection chamber. I've heard some people complain about it not holding enough, but I look at it like it's actually doing an awesome job if I have to empty it a couple of times in one vacuuming session. And this is when I vacuum twice a week! Also, I love how easy it is to go from carpet to hard floors. Since I have a lot of tile in my house, it's nice to be able to vacuum the floors then go straight to cleaning the tile without having to pull out the broom. Plus, you can easily pull out the hose from the handle to clean corners, tight spaces, etc. without having to fumble with attachments. Even though $500 is a lot of money for a vacuum (I stupidly spent more for my Kirby), the Dyson is definately worth every penny!s
Which Vacuum should i get?
- I suggest that you look at a copy of Consumer Reports magazine. In their March issue they rated vacuum cleaners. They recommend Bagged uprights as being easier to handle and easier to empty. One of their first choices was Hoover Widepath Tempo for $80. (It is sold at KMart) I bought this model and I like it as it does a good job cleaning and is just as effecient as many of the higher priced models. The Shark Navigator was #18 among bagless . The only Dyson bagless model to score reasonably well was the DC28 Animal at $600(rated#4) the next Dyson was DC14 rated #17 at $400. Consumer Reports magazine is at libraries or you can subscribe online.s

What vacuum cleaners would you recommend besides hoover. The price is not important ?
- I would also go with a Dyson!! I received one for Christmas and was so excited. Since I have a cat and a dog, I have to vacuum about everyday and the Dyson is always ready to clean! My dog and husband made a horrible dirt path through the living room traveling from the garage to the kitchen and back.... well, I used the cleaning solution that came with my Dyson and that path vanished. Make sure there is some good ventilation in the room though... it doesn't seem like that are a lot of fumes but when I got up to let it do it's work for 30 minutes, my throat hurt and had a headache. So, have ventilation!!s
How can I reword this sentence?
- Skimmers are similar to vacuum cleaners, but instead of sucking up dirt from hard surfaces, they suck up oil from the surface of water. The water needs to be calm in order for skimmers to be effective.s
