I have two glass tubes; one male, and one femaleMy problem is that the female end has an inner diameter that is very slightly too small, or that the male end has an outer diameter that is slightly too wideI have to work on these two components because I already spent the money on themso what to I use to sand 'em down? I need something with which to grind down the glass of either piece by just a half of a millimeter or so.Since they're tubes, it would be easier to reduce the diameter of the outside of the male end, but there is less glass to work withThe thicker female component would be preferable, but then there's the issue of managing to grind the inner surface of a tubeThe diameter in question is just a tad over a half an inch, and the length needed is about an inch and a half.
Your sister was talking about knitting worsted yarnThe smaller the needle the closer the stitches are together thus making it warmerYou can make it longer and wrap it around your neck twiceThe best stitch for warmth is garter stitch or ribbing or any stitch that doesn't leave big holes
I'm currently in the process of having a dog crate built/welded out of aluminum round bar, angle iron, and square tubingI needed a heavy duty cage because I have a Blue Pitbull/American Bulldog Mix who has separation anxiety and has managed to break and bend one of these ASPCA crates founat Petco/Petsmart type stores to the point where it can no longer contain himThe only crates I can find online that would hold him costs between $800-$1000 so I calculated that I can have one built for about 1/4-1/3 that price.I was going to use standard aluminum floor plate for the bottom inside the cage but it seems like this would be cold, hard, and uncomfortableSince he manages to tear up any bedding or blankets I put in there for him I need something soft enough for comfort but strong enough so he cannot rip it up.Anyone know of any type of material I can use for this?
The silver in film is part of a silver salt (silver halides.) It is a very very small amount, probably less than 1 cent worth per rollYou would be a lot better off selling the film than trying to extract the silver from itIf you are hell bent on it, the first step is to expose the film to lightThis will break the silver from the halidesThen you can go about trying to figure out how to get the silver apart from the filmI am sure it is possible, but it would involve a lot of workI imagine you you would spend about $100 on ever $1 worth of silver you could extract.
I really need this ASAPIs there anything besides aluminum in aluminum foil?
Usually this is 99.9% pure aluminium100% is not makeable, since it's from an ore (bauxite)But beware; metallised films are sometimes mistaken for aluminium foil, but are actually polymer films coated with a thin layer of aluminium.

I am planning to do the 3 day diet planDay 1 says to eat lean meatI plan to use chicken breastHow should I cook itWill it be unhealthy to fry it?
Frying meat, of any kind, is not the healthiest choiceIf you cook it in the oven it will be the healthiestI would just put the chicken breast in a pan and loosely cover with aluminum foilBy covering the chicken you don't have to use oil on it and it will not dry outYou do not want to cover the chicken too tightly or it will bake in its own juices, which also contain fats.

I just bought a used Lund 14' aluminum and found a used Honda 9.9 4-strokeThe Honda is a long shaft 20quot; and the Lund has a 15quot; transomI know this is probably not ideal, however will it work? Would I need a jack-plate or will there be some wiggle room in mounting the engine? Thanks
Kevin Knee pain could be for any number of resons and its difficult to tackle if u dont know the cause! Initially id ask whether u had a decent pair (not necessarily expensive) trainers with good cusioning in the sole, if not this could be the problemI run but if a wear crap trainers, with thin soles my kness are an issue! If its a medical issue perhaps u should look at other, low impact forms of exercise, maybe swimming or cross trainers at the gym? Both of these will help u burn fat without the knee pain!
