Wedding decoration chair coverings??? Help?
- Maybe you could try draping a swatch of fabric or a wide ribbon over the back of each chair. That might unify them a bit. Maybe you could even tuck a sunflower into the fabric or ribbon somehow onto the back of each chair. Good luck!s
How do I make a simple chair pad?
- You need to cut 2 pieces of fabric. Cut them the shape of your chairs seat, only make them about 4 inches wider/bigger all the way around. You can use a sheet of newspaper to make your pattern. Then turn the fabric right sides together and stitch~start at the back of it, but leave about a 3 gap in the center, sew from that point around the side, the front and the other side until you get back to your gap. Then just stuff it with some poly-stuffing, and hand stitch the gap/opening closed. You can also make you a couple of strips to tie it onto your chair if needed, or buy some heavy duty matching ribbon or trim. If you don't want to make one, you can always buy a ready-made chair pad too:) Just a tip....by the time you buy your fabric, thread, filling, etc..it's just about cheaper to buy one:) Unless you already have your materials;) Good Luck!!s

Any ideas how to recover an old beauty salon chair?
- Depends on how good your sewing skills are. Take the chair completely apart. Carefully remove the upholstery from each piece of chair to make a pattern for the new fabric. Make the piping, and baste it to one piece. Sew all the fabric pieces together and place each complete section back onto the section of the chair it came from. Staple it to the frame. Mark the screw holes so you'll know where they are. Re-assemble the chair. This is a simple as a simple job gets.s
What do you think of this chair...?
- On the surface it seems to be a great deal ; a $ 500 swivel chair for $100. But since you know(I hope you did) that Rent A Center only sells used items that it has previously rented out to other people, you have to be careful what you buy from them. Some items that were rented out and then sold cheaply were later found to be infected with bed bugs, other types of bugs, caked fecal matter, discoloration from urine either from pets or people ,and other stuff. So check your chair carefully and if clean then relax and enjoy your purchase.s
Are desk chairs made still that have only 4 legs?
- Yes... you can still get desk chairs with only 4 legs, and no arms. You can find them at department stores, office supply stores, etc. (OfficeMax, Office Depot, Sam's Club, Staples, Target, WalMart, etc) I will say this much.... a chair with 5 legs is more stable than a 4 leg chair....less likely to tip over. When I have a choice between the two... I get the 5 leg chair. Another option might be to consider a kitchen/dining chair. Happy Shoppings
