Fixing a desk chair .............?
- You are wrong about using a glue. But then glue is not the right word anyway. Use a material called PL Premium Construction Adhesive. Tube section at many locations. Just don't spend much time breathing it and do not get it on your skin. This adhesive is used to stick most anything to anything - forever. Builders and masons have used this stuff for decades. The old joke is that PL will stick a Volkswagon to a brick wall. How strong? Well, if you use PL to stick two large boards together, you will never be able to break the bond - even with an axe or a ten pound sledge. The wood will be smashed to pieces and the two adhesive faces will still be solidly stuck together. As it relates to your work, I have used it to repair runners on rocking chairs and legs that have snapped apart. Still going thirty years later.s
Can anyone name this chair!? photo included?
- Working closely with a cross-functional team from Herman Miller, Weber carried on. As Embody's designer, Weber gave the chair its function and form, building on Stumpf's inspiration. Their idea arose out of their approach to design. You can't design without empathy, says Weber, who also designed Herman Miller's Caper chair. Since design has become more technology based, we've had to sit in our chairs in front of computers for longer periods of time--just like everyone else.s
How to fix a rocking chair?
- More than likely came out when someone was sitting in it and rocking, causing the sides to flex out some, letting the cross support fall out. This type of thing happens a lot in rocking chairs. Get a friend to pull the legs apart and slip back into place. Be ready to fix or it will happen again. You need something to help tighten up the hole it goes in. String works pretty good, paper matches or toothpicks work good too. A little shot of carpenters glue will help put it back together together. After its all back together, find something to tie the legs together, tightly. Then allow the glue to dry. Best of lucks

- there was one person selling them on OKorder for $35 a while back. Maybe try buying the foam yourself and stuffing it. I Googled anywhere chair inserts and a bunch of craigslist listings came up, maybe you could buy one second hand.s
Addicted to vibrating/bouncy chair?
- Well look at it this way he is getting some relief from his bouncy chair and that's great because colic is very uncomfortable for poor little babies! Also Im sure once he gets a bit older all he will want is to be held and carried around and then you will look back and think man I wish he still loved that chair lol. Good luck and it sounds like you're doing a great job being there for him!s
Sound Options on a gaming chair?
- Depending on the particular chair you get, and what you actually want to do, the answer is going to vary. Most gaming chairs I've seen at least support stereo audio via the red/white RCA cables. So what you could do is connect your devices to the surround sound system as normal, then run a pair of the red/white RCA cables from the Receiver's 2nd room outputs. I don't know if your receiver has this feature or not, but it would allow you to have the receiver playing audio through its speakers and your chair at the same time. Another option would be to connect the RCA audio cables directly to the device in question. You'll need a set of long cables for this, and maybe a male-male adapter plug (you can get these from Radio Shack.) Another way would be to get a cheap A/V switch (the type for composite video) and just plug your audio cables into that, then plug the chair into the switch. Most devices can output an audio signal on all their outputs at once so this shouldn't be a problem.s
