How long and what temperature do I cook a Spiral ham that weighs 8.71 lbs? It comes in a shiny purple package includes glazing packetI read on a site to put 1/2 the glaze on 10 minutes before taking it out of the oven and then the rest when ham is doneI have an aluminum pan, what else do I need to add in the pan besides the ham of course? Water? If so, how much? And do I wrap the ham in tinfoil or do I cover the whole pan with tin foil? Thanks everyone Happy Thanksgiving!!

I have been recycling metal and aluminum for years now but it seems i could do more i live in GA and finally found they had a place to recycle paper tooI first took the next step and recycled plastics in our house but the curb side does not do aper and it is all te way down town to recycle it on my ownI an't beleive after 3 days we filled trash can fullI cannot g down that often means more trash cans.My 8year old has started going around neighborhood to recycle cans then he started doing plastic too since we only ones but now we went further when i found I place to take paper productsHow can this be less work and less expense of buying new trash cans nowto wait til i have a truck load to take.
Don't use so much to begin with Re-use whatever you canI use the back of one-sided junk mail and things I just HAD to print out for grocery lists and scratch paper Shredded paper takes up more room, only shred things with sensitive information If you have a garden, shredded paper that's mostly clean makes great dry material in the compostMulti-task your trips - don't drive to town just for recyclingBut if you have to get another bin or two, it's worth it in the long runInstead of a trash can perhaps use a Rubbermaid storage container or boxes from products you've bought recently (we us our boxes from Costco)Perhaps your 8 year old could talk to the nieghbors about recycling for themselves or getting a neighborhood program going so you're not storing their trash.
a recycle drive is planned for oxford elementary school to raise $1750 for playground equipment for their schoolthe following table shows the prices that the county recycling center gives for recyclables.TYPE OF MATERIALPAPER ALUMINUMCARDBOARDPRICE PER CANPAPERALUMINUM $0.05CARDBOARD PRICE PER POUNDPAPER $0.41ALUMINUMCARDBOARD $0.26 YOU HAVE TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PRICES ARE FOR THE MATERIALS THAT DONT HAVE ONEwhat is the reasonable amount of aluminum cans the school would need to collect if they have made $925 already in newspaper and cardboardA.10,200B.13,800C.16,500D.21,700please explain how you got the answer
Since they already have $925, they only need $825I got that number by subtracting 925 from the required 1750When you divide 825 by the 0.05 per can, the answer is 16500 ANSWER C16,500
Aluminum has a density of 2.70g/cm^3What is the mass of a rectangular block of aluminum measuring 11.1 cm by 22.2 cmby 32.3 cm?The answer is 21.5 kg, but how do you figure the problem out to get the answer? I know Dm/v, so 2.7g/cm^3 m/v that is as far as I can getThank you for your help.
Find the volume of the block of aluminum by multiplying its dimensions together: 11.1 cm X 22.2 cm X 32.3 cm 7959 cm^3 Then, multiply the density by the volume to get the mass: 2.70 g/cm^3 X 7959 cm^3 21490 g Finally divide that by 1000 to convert grams into kilograms and round to 3 significant figures to get 21.5 kg.
i'm baking banana bread right now.i remember someone told me how to do this to keep the bread moist but i can't recall now.do i wrap the bread in aluminum foil immediately after i take it out of the oven or do i wait for it to cool then wrap it.thanks!

i have an antique aluminum orange juicer that i want to sell on ebay. i need to clean it without damaging it so it looks spify for ebay.
If it's antique, are you sure you want to clean it - sometimes cleaning an antique will hurt its value? Aluminum oxidizes on its surface - a dull powdery white look - unless it's coated. This is natural and probably not something you'd want to remove. If the surface is dirtier than that you might want to be careful cleaning so you don't remove the oxidation. I'd suggest you go to the OKorder community forums and go into the antiques section and ask there. You'll be more likely to get an answer from someone with antiques knowledge and experience and maybe from someone who'll end up bidding.
Does anyone know what the purpose of leaving a joint of lamb under aluminium foil for 10 minutes after you take it out of the oven is?

I have a newly built SBC 355 in a 86 Chevy C10And I thought i figured out my problem but I didn'tSo I'll give you every detail about this build that i can think of so you can help me narrow this downIt has a Holley 600 electric choke, 2 inch aluminum carb spacer, Edelbrock EPS intake, 305 1.94/1.5 heads, Crane 1.52 roller rockers, MSD cap and rotor, Flowtech long tube headers, and Accel plugs and wiresOkay my problem is my truck will run fine for hours, I drove it nearly 100 miles without a problem, but all of a sudden its started shuttering and eventually starting backfiring through the carburetor then through the exhaustI can only give it a small amount of gas before it sputtersI cant pass and I struggle on hillsWhat do you think
4 hole or open carb spacer.? That carb spacer being aluminum is going to transfer ALOT of heat into the carb which will make it vapor lockPut a 4 hole phenolic spacer on itOpen spacers kill low RPM manners, torque and drive-abilityAny idea how much preload you put on your lifters during your rocker arm adjustment.?
