Product Description:

Introduction:

Similar to those used in commercial nurseries, this seed starter has hinged cells that open like a book so you can inspect root growth or remove the plant for transplanting.

Roots are automatically air-pruned to create a denser root mass, and grooved sidewalls direct them straight down to minimize spiralling. Seedlings slide out easily, avoiding damage to the root system and associated transplant shock.

Cells are 5" deep by 1-1/2" square. Each reusable polystyrene kit is made up of one 14-1/4" by 8-1/4" frame (requiring minor assembly) and eight four-cell books (for a total of 32 growing cells).

Q:Plastics types?
Some plastics are partially crystalline and partially amorphous in molecular structure, giving them both a melting point (the temperature at which the attractive intermolecular forces are overcome) and one or more glass transitions (temperatures above which the extent of localized molecular flexibility is substantially increased). So-called semi-crystalline plastics include polyethylene, polypropylene, poly (vinyl chloride), polyamides (nylons), polyesters and some polyurethanes. Many plastics are completely amorphous, such as polystyrene and its copolymers, poly (methyl methacrylate), and all thermosets.
Q:How bright is the future of the plastic surgery?
Yes, yes, yes!!! Business is booming!!!
Q:Horse is afraid of plastic?
I had a horse the very same way! I hung plastic bags on the fence, feeder and the saddle! He got to where it was nothing to him but go somewhere and let him hear something that sounded like crinkling plastic and he was GONE!! I could never get him over that. I did all the desensitizing I could. I was sittin on him at a barrel race and had my leg flopped over the saddle horn drinkin a coke, I shook the cup to break up the ice and he almost left me in the dirt. I feel for you, I didn't have very good luck getting my horse unafraid of the sound. He would tremble! It was so sad. I hope someone has some good answers! Heck, I know I didn't help very much but sometimes you loose the battle and have to sit back and laugh at yourself. :P
Q:Can i used Plastic wrap for a greenhouse?
Heavier plastic sheeting would be more durable. But its still inexpensive and readily available at Home Depot or Lowes. Get the heaviest you can afford and then staple gun it to your wood supports.
Q:Why is their so much different plastic?
There are so many different types of plastics because each type of plastic has different properties that make it suitable for it's use. Some plastics have greater rigidity and strength (like PVC), some plastics are more economically feasible (like PET) and some are more heat resistant like the plastics used to make bowls and storage containers. #1 and #2 plastics are most commonly recycled. The other types are generally not recycled because it is cheaper to make new plastic out of petroleum than to bear the expense of collection, sorting and recycling. Also, plastic must be sorted as plastic made from more than one type of recycled plastic is not structurally sound. The best thing to do is avoid plastic packaging in the first place.
Q:Why does my cat chew on plastic???
Not all cats do that hun. Your cat does that, mine just thinks he is human. I've given up trying to find out why they act so weird. I think it's just his taste. Humans are no different if you think about it. Some people love the smell of rubbing alcohol or even gasoline. Some people eat dust. Likewise, some cats like to bite the walls, others, like yours, bite plastic. The only reason I can think of is he bites plastic because cats are just weird and love the attention. Perhaps he's noticed you give him more attention wen he is doing that.
Q:Can aquatic snail eat plastic plants?
an answer? NO they don't eat plastic but they eat the micro algae found on them. these micro algae grow everywhere in your tank and they feed on these. honestly.. I don't know any snail which reproduces on it's own as all animals need a partner to procreate. If you later plan to have two, make sure they are not considered invasive, some snails I recommend are apple snails because they are easy to control as they lay eggs outside the water and can be easily removed. However silk plants are better as they offer a realistic flexability and are soft enough to prevent damage on fish bodies, especially fancy fish. And,you could put hardy plants which will not be eaten by snails. Some snails do noy eat the fresh plant itself but eat the dead leaves of the latter so have a look at the species of snail you have. hope it helps
Q:Can you recycle plastic wrapping?
Plastic shopping bags can be recycled. Saran wrap and zip-lock type baggies can NOT be recycled.
Q:In my city we can recycle #1 plastic.?
Plastics okorder.com to see if there are any recycling facilities that will accept other plastics. I focus on Reduce I avoid excess packaging as well as processed foods. I have found that eating real food dramatically reduces my waste.
Q:Should I plastic process my diploma?
I personally think that paying a business to laminate your GED diploma would be a waste of money. I would suggest that you just get some inexpensive plastic document protectors and put your diploma in one of those and store it and other important documents in a safe place. I keep my important documents in such a plastic sleeve, and in a watertight plastic storage container in a cabinet away from any water pipes. My documents are safe, and can be accessed when I need to show them to an entity, such as when I try to rent an apartment. As to your Social Security card, you are actually NOT supposed to laminate it. Again, put it in a plastic protective sleeve and store it in a safe (and easily remembered) place. You really should not carry your Social Security card around with you. The only time you need to use it is mainly when applying for jobs or housing. If you lose your card, that 'opens the door' for someone to steal your identity, which is NOT a pleasant scenario.
