- First of all, you have to specify the exact model of your mobile phone. Unless it is running Symbian, Windows Mobile or PalmOS, you can't install an anti-virus program on it and you don't have to, either - there are neither viruses, nor anti-virus programs for the phones running proprietary operating systems. Even if it is running one of the three operating systems mentioned above, unless it is Symbian S60 R2, the threat is negligible - there are only a couple of malicious programs for the other operating systems (or even brands of Symbian) and the probability of your phone getting infected is virtually nil. Still, many anti-virus producers will gladly sell you an anti-virus program for Windows Mobile, PalmOS, Symbian UIQ or Symbian S60 R3 - despite that you don't really need one. Now, if your phone is running Symbian S60 R2, you really need an anti-virus program for it - there are hundreds of malicious programs (viruses and Trojan horses) for this environment. However, there is no free such program that is sufficiently good. So, you'll have to decide what is more important - price or quality. If the program being free is the most important criterion, try Calvin Stinger (first of the links below). If the program being good is more important to you, then try F-Secure's anti-virus program (the second link below). If neither of them works for you for some reason, ask again and I'll provide you a list of a couple of dozens anti-virus programs for mobile phones.

I have a TWIN card with Vodafone in Spain and I can switch between the two lines without taking the card out, simply by typing the PIN number for whichever line I want active. I can't have both on at once, but I have a free automatic divert from one line to the other, so people calling my Private line are patched through to my Business line without noticing. However, if you have a Shuttle or a Slider Sonic, photos can be transferred onto a MicroSD card from your phone and then into your computer (this makes picture messaging not required to get your pictures onto your computer) If you don't have a Slider Sonic or a Shuttle, then you MUST send your photos in a picture message to get them onto a computer. - I have the phone. The touchscreen is very responsive and easy to use, and everything on the phone like messaging and calling is good. The 3.2 megapixel camera is also pretty good too! It has quite a few little extras that are quite nice like the basic calculator as well as a converter which is useful. The only thing i find really frustrating about the phone is that it doesnt allow you to put any content on it such as new games and applications unless they are paid for! It doesnt have a stylus as it is sometimes advertised. The other thing is it can be difficult to connect it to a pc because my laptop with vista can never locate the driver. The last complaint i have is the headphones. They're rubbish. but other then that the phone works well and is very stylish if you only want it for the basic calling, texting etc. hope this helps.
