Limited Product Warranty
Under normal application, installation, use and service conditions, if MODULES fail to conform to this limited product warranty due to defects in material or workmanship, then for a period ending 12 years from date of sale as shown in the invoice or Contract issued by CNBM SOLAR. CNBM SOLAR will, at its option, either repair or replace or refund the purchase price as paid by the client for these defective MODULES. The repair or replacement or refund remedy shall be the sole and exclusive remedy provided under the “Limited Product Warranty” and shall not extend beyond the 12 years period set forth herein. It will be performed directly to the direct client only. This “Limited Product Warranty” does not warrant a specific power output, which shall be exclusively covered under “Limited Peak Power Warranty” as follows.

- Q: I just bought a quot;00 wattsolar panel system to install on my house. I just wanted to know if by 00 watts, does that mean per hour, min, day week or what?
- 00 watts is like energy consumption. The computer i am using right now is probably around 300 watts right now. It's not always 00 watts, that's probably maximum. And also, watts = volts x amps.
- Q: i need to make a mini-solar car which shouldn't cost much. it's for my science project. for now, i just found out how to make a solar panel using copper oxide, but it does not generate enough power to power up the engine of the toy car [ the small engine they used in the toys, like from TAMIA]

- I think it's in the Ultra-Violet range because Solar Panels will still put out almost full power on an overcast day.
- Q: I have heard a lot about solar panels and I want to know how these solar panels works and is it really possible to generate electricity using solar panels. And what is the cost of getting a solar panel installed?
- They consist of a semiconductor junction which has an uneven distribution of charge so it has an electric field in it. When light hits the material, an electron is knocked off from its parent atom and can move around the material. The electric field pushes it in one direction, et voila. You have current! (it's most complicated than that, but it needs quantum physics to understand). In summary, light goes in and DC electricity comes out of the panel. To use it in your house you will need an inverter as well, which turns it into useful AC. Then you need a way of using up the extra electricity you produce when it's sunny but you're not using power Some people use batteries, most people use 'grid tied' systems, plug in to the national grid and sell electricity to power companies that you're not using! Unfortunately, without major subsidies (like those offered in Germany, Japan and soon the UK), solar panels aren't likely to be cost effective. In the UK it costs about ?5-6,000 to install a kWp of solar power and it will make about ?90 of electricity a year. In California it's sunnier, so would make about ?200 of electricity a year, but it's still very VERY expensive without subsidy. On the plus side, technology is improving. Thin film technology can be done at half the price, so I'd say hold on until thin film solar cells go up for sale (right now they only sell them to companies for big projects). Prices should drop by at least half in the coming years if they can make enough to sell to households - and at that price it'll be worth it in places like California.
- Q: Can solar panels work at night?
- No, solar panels cannot work at night as they rely on sunlight to generate electricity.
- Q: How much does 000 square feet of solar panels cost? This is for a pool with dimensions 75ft by 25ft? How much will it cost including installation fee and the water heater?
- My Father-in-Law had around 300sqft of solar panels installed for the equivalent of around ?3000 or $5000. These were just the cheap and relatively inefficient black plastic tubes that were installed on his roof. This was in South Africa where the labour rates are quite cheap. The system works okay and heats a 40ft x 20ft outdoor pool to over 30C in the height of summer. Rather than a pool heater, I think it might be good to look at an air source heat pump to help heat the water in Autumn/Winter when you don't get enough sun to heat the pool. These will be expensive (over $5000), but they will use less than 30% of the electricity of a standard electric water heater. Just the solar panels could cost you $5-20K including fitting.

- Solar panel cannot be home made with household material. It was a high tech product. You need to buy them in market. To suppose electricity for a trailer home, solar system becomes very expensive . A t least few thousands dollar to buy solar panels, storage battery bank, DC to AC inverter, heavy gauge wiring and hardware.
