Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is non-ionic cellulose ether, made by natural high polymer cellulose as raw material and series of chemical processing. They provide water retention and cohesiveness to mixtures. With special modification, it can be used to control thickening, water demand, workability, sag resistance, strength and other important properties of the final product.

ETICS/EIFS
To save cost of heating or cooling power, ETICS (EIFS) (External Thermal Insulation Composite System / Exterior Insulation Finish System) is used to apply thermal insulating material and reinforcing mesh to the exterior of buildings.
HPMC is used in this application as a functional additive to improve adhesion strength, workability and pot life. Also it helps to delay drying out of the mortar surfae.

- Q: I have a 350cc royal enfield motorbike. For every service of the bike i replace the engine oil 1 gallon and add oil additives such as STP, ABRO, NULON. I realized the performance of my engine has become better. Now i was imagining to use complete oil additive 1 gallon and stop using engine oil. I know this would be expensive because oil additives cost more than regualar engine oil but will my bike performance work at optimum level and has anyone tried anything like this?

- I trust Lucas products, they make oil and transmission additives. I use Sea Foam in my fuel, but Sea Foam can also be used in the crankcase (oil). There are many 'honeys' on the market, why are you needing additives? Leaking? Burning? Maybe it is time to replace. If you are needing the extra miles from your vehicle I would go with Lucas, they guarantee the product and I recommend it.

- It just means that the cigarettes aren't sprayed down with additives like formaldehyde and heavy metals to make them burn slower. Though in theory this is a good thing, it won't save you from health problems. In face, tobacco in its natural state contains carcinogenic and otherwise harmful chemicals. I'm definitely not trying to lecture you, if you're an adult you have ever right to choose to smoke, but it'd be like drinking organic rat poison, it's still toxic and chances are, you're probably still going to get sick. Cool little factoid, only something like 20% of smokers get lung cancer, most people who smoke end up with other sorts of lung problems and heart/cardiovascular disease insteadnot that it has to do with the topic, just thought it was an interesting little excerpt.

- I've only used the transmission treatment. As with all products like that, they are mainly designed to get a little more life out of a feeble old vehicle. Because of that there isn't a whole lot you can expect but it was a definite improvement to my 20 year old Volvo transmission. I don't recommend any additives for a vehicle in its prime. Using the right fluids in the first place (including top tier gasoline) is good enough.
