Q: list the bands!alot! :Pdeath metal,screamo,black metal,,,,,,, brutal,..ETC metalcore,,,hardcore,,,...ANY THING HEADBANGING!!
how do i construct a circular metal room? is it possible to curve metal that much? of course, look at a car or the Bilbao Museum - you use sheet metal and fasten the sheets to a frame or mounting material like curved sheet rock or wood paneling. The problem might be that only thin wood - veneer or somewhat thicker - can be fitted to curves. Silicone adhesive is the material that will hold wood in general to metal in general. E6000 is a thinner self leveling hard setting silicone adhesive and GOOP from the same company comes in several forms.
Q: A metal oxide contains 91.4% metal by mass. Determine the identiy of the metal?PLEASE HELP.....can you explain why Rb is the answer??
Metal is removed from the blues a bit, and rarely strays into the good-time-having real world stuff; It's about depression, death, genocide, hatred, evil, war, or fantasy about vikings, dragons, trolls.(it doesn't have to be brutal but it usually is not something relatable; power metal is very happy, but is about soaring into the valleys of the mighty dwarf or something weird).you won't find many metal songs with I love ya baby or woman or cranking my hotrod in the lyrics. the scales in metal guitar solos are, at least now, more exotic and classically oriented, rather than bluesy as in rock. I've also noticed that metal has a black or white, HEAVY-OR-SOFT use of distortion; there are no in-betweens you won't find slightly distorted rolling stones chords; you either find brutally distorted powerchords in STAND-ALONE riffs, or completely acoustic chording.
Q: Mine are (in order):1. Progressive metal2. Death metal (all sub-genres except deathcore and brutal death)3. Thrash metal4. Groove metal5. Power metalRock on #92;m/
Slipknot is labeled as Nu-Metal simply because it's mainstream and they sound mainstream. It's as simple as that. Nu-Metal is the combination of the grunge revolution and metal along with rap here and there. The main distinguishing factor is that often focus on the mood/texture and rhythm of the music instead of melody, which is common amongst most mainstream music. There's nothing wrong with listening to Nu-Metal, such as Slipknot, Korn, PapaRoach, Disturbed, etc. But most metal fans reject the genre because it doesn't follow the purist heavy metal formula and because most metal fans have taken pride in it being a semi-underground genre. I personally don't like Slipknot (Or most Nu-Metal), but listen to what you want and don't worry about labels.
Q: properties of group 1 metals
Well...screamo, emo, punk, core aren't metal dude. They're just scene kid music. Real metal subgenres are stuff like death metal, black metal, doom metal, thrash metal, power metal, and their many subgenres aswell..melodic black metal, symphonic black..etc. There are many good bands out now, under these subgenres...if you've never heard of them you should definitly check 'em out dude. I love just about all subgenres of metal. (Not hardcore and screamo) haha Oh and by the way... Meshuggah is Metalcore. Hardcore dude. Not metal.
Q: We all know that just about everything else influences metal but has metal had an influence on pop, country, classical, or any other genre? And if so what artists or songs?
some hard rock, and metal. ooh and industrial! =]
Q: I love metal, mostly thrash and doom metal. I don't really like nu-metal, but most metalheads seem to hate it. Why is that?
Mesuggah Nightwish Slipknot Slayer Dimmu Borgir Metallica Devildriver Satyricon Testament Ozzy Osbourne Rob Zombie Korn Lordi Alice Cooper Bullet For My Valentine Parkway Drive Killswitch Engage Cradle Of Filth Children Of Bodom Hatebreed Disturbed Dragonforce In Flames Motorhead Trivium Machine Head White Zombie Bring Me The Horizon Lamb of God Lacuna Coil Five Finger Death Punch
Q: the hockey pucks and the metal
There is something called the Reactivity Series which basically shows which elements are more reactive than others.. but they are grouped as metals and nonmetals.. i dont think you can generalize all nonmetals as more reactive than nonmetals, or vice versa.. it really depends upon the individual element, regardless of whether or not it is a metal.
Q: Don't worry if you get mixed up a bit with your sub categories. Sometimes it's not always clear-cut and hard to define.Example Mine...Followed by your favorite album if you wish.Death Metal - Death - SymbolicBlack Metal - Absu - Occult...Melodic Death/Black - Dark Tranquillity - The Mind's iViking/Folk Metal - Amon Amarth - Vs the WorldThrash Metal - Megadeth count? if not Overkill - Rust In PeaceHeavy Metal (pre 80s) - Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody SabbathHair Metal - ??? (none)Power Metal - Dragonforce (although I don't like powermetal) Does Iron Maiden count?Stoner/Sludge Metal - The Melvins - A Senile AnimalProgressive Metal or anything Progressive - Opeth - Blackwater ParkFeel free to add a new category.
the nobles metals are all the elements in group 18
Q: What is the difference between metals and non-metals? Please give sevral differences and only educated answers only. No well meaning guesses!
Rush is prog rock. BQ1: No, hard rock. BQ2: No, hard rock. BQ3: No, hard rock. BQ4: Heavy metal has evolved today to a bunch of stupid bands with growling singers. Therefore, these great bands have become hard rock so they are not confused with the garbage that is now heavy metal. I don't have a favorite heavy metal band.
Q: What is your favourite Heavy Metal band and sub-genre?!Mine personally varies. I love 80's Thrash Metal (Iron Maiden, Metallica, Onslaught, Megadeth, Artillery) But right now my favourite metal band is probably Children of Bodom (Melodic Death Metal)or Municipal Waste (New Wave of Thrash Metal) :D
The two methods of enzyme inhibition are: - When the inhibitor competes with the enzyme for the bonding site on the substrate. If the inhibitor gets to the bonding site first, it mimicks the action of the enzyme, and bonds with the substrate, making it inactive. - The other way is when the inhibitor deforms part of the substrate, and bonds with it there. This changes the shape of the bonding site, meaning that the enzyme cannot bond with it, and making the substrate inactive. Im not sure which one is relevant to metal ions, but I'm pretty sure its one of those two ways...
