Q:Hi!I was wondering what processes does it take to turn elements into metal (I don't know what im talking about). i'm planning to make a record and the title album is going to be a posh term of making/process of making metal.so if you could pls tell me a posh/fancy terms of making metal(like steel, iron or such. not the actual music genre).thanks
Metal is the main all-encompassing genre. Heavy Metal is a sub-genre of Metal and I suppose you can call it the first sub-genre of Metal. I'm not good at describing music but basically to me Heavy Metal is vanilla Metal - it lacks the characteristics of all those other genres, doesn't have especially unique vocals. It's the most mainstream Metal sub-genre. Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Anvil, Grand Magus, Metallica (late), etc. are Heavy Metal.
Q:Explain how a pure metal is held together. (Include a definition of a metallic bond in your explanation). I'm not so worried about the information in the parenthesis but I do need to know how a pure metal is held together. The more detailed the explanation the better.
If you're digging melodic and folk music, I think you want to go much older with your metal. I'm talking old blow-the-dust-off-it stuff here: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Sabbath, even Zeppelin, and see what that does for you. That stuff is actually very folk-influenced itself, and involves much more melody than any of the 'core' genres. Honestly I don't know how people keep up with all these labels nowadays. Post-hardcore, deathcore, snotcore, rapcore, discocore, etc. must get really confusing. Back when those old dogs were doing it (even though most of them are still doing it), it was just called rock or heavy metal and that was that. Anyway, give the dinosaur-core stuff I mentioned a listen, and see if it lights any fires for you.
Q:I know about the hip hop/rap/funk elements. But when you listen to Korn's original album and compare it to grunge records, outside of the funk elements, its very similar. It seems to me that when you strip away the hip hop/rap/funk elements of nu metal what you get is grunge.
You don't need to insult a musical genre. Metal is not all about hate and demons. I think your thinking of modern poser metal like Slipknot and Korn. Iron Maiden wrote songs about Fantasy and the effects of war. Almost all power metal is about fantasy. Quit being a jerk. Metal is awesome. And it sure is cooler than you are, you're probobly some jerk.
Q:since bones are mainly made from calcium- and calcium is a alkali earth metal - does this mean we have metal bones?
1. Heavy Metal (Traditional/New Wave of Traditional) 2. Progressive Metal 3. Power Metal 4. Instrumental Metal 5. Stoner/Doom Metal [Mohak] Yeah! Stoner/Doom! *highfive*
Q:I've seen them be just labeled simply as heavy metal but they were considered by some to be an early black metal band and they even had an album titled Black Metal. Are they actually a black metal band or were they just very influential to black metal?
Ionic Compounds And Metals
Q:were can i download all the metal slugs???
I despise the bands you've listed except maybe 2 songs by Slipknot, the closest thing to Nu-Metal I can tolerate is some Fear Factory and some Coal Chamber
Q:Any good nu-metal or alternative metal bands?
From WikiPedia: # 1 Primary heavy metal subgenres * 1.1 Black metal * 1.2 Death metal * 1.3 Doom metal * 1.4 Folk metal * 1.5 Glam metal * 1.6 Gothic metal * 1.7 Groove metal * 1.8 Industrial metal * 1.9 Metalcore * 1.10 Neo-classical metal * 1.11 Nü metal * 1.12 Post-metal * 1.13 Power metal * 1.14 Progressive metal * 1.15 Sludge metal * 1.16 Speed metal * 1.17 Stoner metal * 1.18 Thrash metal # 2 Cross-genre terms within heavy metal * 2.1 Alternative metal * 2.2 Avant-garde metal * 2.3 Christian metal * 2.4 Extreme metal * 2.5 Rap metal * 2.6 Symphonic metal * 2.7 Viking metal There are a lot more than just those ones, though. There are TONS of Sub Genres. Too many to list.
Q:someone said it was one of the genres of metal in a answer to my question but I don't know what it is!
Well I can think of a number of them, though probably not all ! You must first find out about the characteristics of the metal, type of metal,- as a number of things are classified as metal , - such as steel, aluminum, copper, alloys, like brass nickel etc. Then you have tensil-strength, - which is the hardness of the material, - as working the material (such as stretching, bending,) in order to get the material formed like a (car fender or a bowl for instance). You will also need to know how to prevent oxidation (called rust or corrosion), and what primer/paints required for different metals. Also joining different metals, welding etc. So you can see that you need to learn a lot!
Q:The question is metals tend to lose electrons easily. Describe how metals tend to react chemically. It also asks this about nonmetals. Thanks
Three quarters of Machine Head's masterpiece The Blackening consists of songs that are almost 10 minutes long.
Q:i dont have 360 or ps3 and i love metal gear
i dont know the correct answer, but i would havesaid that its because there is less to be found lol, sorry i have no idea
