- Q: I want to know the essential machinery required to start an auto body building workshop.
- paint room and spray equipment , sanders of all kinds and room to sand in tools to replace body parts drills to pop dents and bits of different sizes, lights to dry paint
- Q: What machinery is used to make sugar? From digging the ground to harvesting.......
- Sugar is obtained from a corn-like cane that grows in tropical places, It is planted from small cut portions of the cane into the soil already prepared and fertilized, when the canes get as high as 6 feet, and the leaves start to get yellow, is harvested, in many places its burnt to get ready of the leaves with sharp cutting edges and some dangerous snakes that usually nest in the plantations. The cane itself as is full with sweet liquid doesn't burn and is collected and carried to the mill. The first part of the extraction is to pass the canes through a press of rollers that press the syrup out, keeping the dry cane to be used for fuel to use in the boilers. The syrup is boiled and the water is removed leaving a very dense paste that is then dried with hot air to get raw sugar in large crumbs, this crums are milled to get what is known as brown sugar in cystaline form. The brown sugar doesn't have any chemicals and is almost 100% from dried syrup. From the brown sugar, is processed white sugar by means of adding some chemicals to whiten and remove the sugar cane flavor that comes with the original syrup. The final product is what we buy at the store. The boilers designed for sugar mills are unique for they are able to work with the dry cane as with oil, reducing considerably the cost of operation. There are some by-products very important that make sugar mills a great industry, the process of drying produce also a burned taste sediment called molasses high in calories that is also comercialized as stock food.
- Q: Certain medications saygt;gt;gt;Do not drive or operate machinerylt;lt;lt;lt;What kind of machinery are they talking about?
- Anything that could hurt you or others if your reaction time is slowed, or your judgement is impaired - bulldozers, table saws, drill press, crane, threshers, etc. etc. etc. Easier to say machinery.
- Q: Wong Industries is depreciating the value of its machinery over a thirty-year life. Its original value was $1,000,000 and it is assumed to have a scrap value of $100,000. After 20 years, it is decided that the machinery still has another 20 years of life but it will then be worth nothing. Find a piecewise linear function that describes the broken-straight-line depreciation that the company is using. Please explain how you came up with your answer! Thanks
- Since it originally had a lifespan of 30 years, it will lose $900,000 in 30 years, or $30,000 per year. V(t)=1,000,000 -30000t for the first 20 years. It's lost $600,000 in value and still is worth $400,000, but this will all go away after another 20 years or $20,000 per year... V(t)=400,000-20,000t for t between 20 and 40 years. I'll leave it to you to format this correctly :)
- Q: The project, however, will end after 5 years. If the equipment can be sold for $4.5 million at the completion of the project, and your firm's tax rate is 35 percent, what is the after-tax cash flow from the sale of the machinery?
- What formulas have you tried? It appears as though you are just trying to get everyone on here solve the finance problems for you!
- Q: Should I operate heavy machinery?
- Immediately.
- Q: What qualifications do enterprises in the machinery manufacturing industry possess?
- Article 1 in order to promote the rapid development of equipment manufacturing industry, to strengthen and improve the equipment manufacturing industry self-discipline management, standardized equipment manufacturing enterprise production behavior, improve the quality of equipment level, according to the actual situation of the equipment manufacturing industry, these measures are formulated.
- Q: why was machinery the most powerful weapon in the war of capital against the working class?
- Yeah, lets destroy all automation...lol Idiot !
- Q: out of solid gold? pretend like you have a limitless supply of gold. is gold a useful material more than other metals in machinery? can gold machines last longer? will computer chips or circuits operate with gold instead of other metals? if not gold then what is the best materials?
- you could make some machines out of just gold and it would be benificial since it doesnt rust. but Gold is expensive that is why it is economical to use other metals. another disadvantge to gold is that its very soft and ductile if the machine requires its material to be hard and stiff then intuition would tell you that gold wouldn't be a good choice. hope i helped
- Q: Why are hydraulic systems used in machinery such as bulldozers and backhoes, while pneumatic systems are used for things like opening and closing bus doors? Please provide a lot of detail, and examples!
- The biggest advantage is the amount of power in a given space. Hyd systems typically operate at 2000psi and up, compared to about 80psi for pneumatic. Also, since fluid is non compressible, the moement distance can be linear. Many aircraft, and industrial equipment now use electric servos instead of hydraulics. Biggest problem with hydraulics is leaks. 2nd biggest problem is continuous power consumption to the pump. Lots of air power is used in industry, so it is the easiest way to move or clamp anything, with nothing more than an air cylinder and a valve. Each system has it's place to do different things.
