Q: find a number which is nine less than twice the additive inverse?
9 less than twice the additive inverse of what? If our original number is x, then: the additive inverse gives us: -x twice tells us to multiply that by 2, which gives us: -2x 9 less than tells us to subtract 9 from that, which gives us: -2x - 9 So, whatever your original number was, multiply by -2 and subtract 9 to get your answer.
Q: Can someone please explain to me in layman‘s terms the difference between additive and subtractive colors? I have looked for this on the web but it is all to confusing.
Subtractive colors the colros are generated from the light source in the area. like the sun, a flash, lamps etc. When you print you are using subtractive colors. CMYK Cyan Magenta Yellow and Black. printed materials will be printed in using these colors. Light will hit the ink and it subtracts everthing except that color. so when you look at a cyan (light blue) color on an ad in a magazine the light is hitting the paper and all the other colors in the sepctrum are being removed thus allowing you to see just the cyan. and if I want purple I need to subract the with cyan and magenta inks Additive colors are Red Green and Blue. These are used on things like computer screens and TV's. The main source of the color is the electronics it's self. since it is generating the colors nothing gets subtracted only added. thus they are additive colors. so to make purple I need to add blue and red.
Q: I see a lot of fuel Treatment cleaners out on the shelfs. Which one is best? And Why????
I own a shop, and think this; You are in the wrong category to ask this question, you must have clicked on the wrong category accidentally. The answer to your question really depends on what your vehicle is, what engine you have, how many miles is on it, the kind of induction system the engine has, and if your engine is running poorly or not. If you will look at the labels on most of the fuel treatments/additives, you will find they are all using basically the same ingredients. You wouldn't want to put an additive made for carburetors into an engine that has fuel injectors. If you are running a carburetor, then many additives will damage some of the components in them, and are made for fuel injected induction type engines only. One must be careful what they put in their gas tanks. An example would be: One puts fuel injector cleaner into an engine with a carburetor, and suddenly the vehicle has a bad hesitation. This is due in part to the additive has damaged the accelerator pump by melting the material its made from. On a carburetor type system, use only choke/carburetor cleaner on the outside of the carburetor, and never put anything in the tank that might do harm to the inside components. Its best to just stay away from using additives unless you have a fuel injected engine, and then only use it to keep the injectors clean about once a month for an everyday driven vehicle. For a fuel injected engine; Use STP (black bottle only) fuel injector cleaner. This stuff works really well to help keep the injectors working not getting gummed up. Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!
Q: What is the addtivtive inverse of 9x -y+5y-4-6x-6yHow do you find them? Thanks in Advance
the additive inverse are numbers that their sum yields zero: example: (-6x - 6y) +( 6x + 6y) = 0
Q: Do they cause any problems?
no correction the new code calls for two ground rods to be driven into the ground.
Q: .learning disabilities in kids?FDA has been asked to ban 8 food dyes after a study has shown that they cause hyperactivity and learning disabilities in children. controlled studies have shown over the three decades. have shown that children‘s behavior can be worsened by some artificial dyes.says Center for Science in the Public Interest. over the years the FDA has disputed the center‘s assertion although this study began about 1970‘s, well-controlled studies since then claims there is no evidence to support the study mentioned above. an FDA spokesperson said Tuesday that color additives undergo safety reviews prior to approval for marketing.and samples of each coloring are testeddyes are used in countless foods that children consume to simulate vegetables candies, sodas , and snack foods. and are most prevalent in cereals. request for ban are: Yell 5. Red 40. Blue 1.Blue 2. Green 3.Orange B.Red 3. Yell 6.Have you heard about this study? is there a link?.WYT?
having studied health nutrition for almost 11 years nowI am more convinced then ever that all these additives, dyes, pesicides ect are extremly harmful. Do you know that when they do the testing to see if they are harmful they use a 30 year old MALE. Almost 90% of people affected by additives are either children, the elderely or have immune problems. Also we can ban all we want, because alot of other countries do not ban and we import alot of food in.same thing with pesicides. I took a class were every single chemical color additive that is used today, has a natural alternative that they can use.but it all comes down to the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I am positive that many many of our dieases, allergies and ailments are due to the additives in food and drinks. People who truly care about what they are feeding their bodies need to educate themselves. and if you don't care about yourself.how about protecting YOUR children. READ, READ, READ!!!!!!!!
Q: just dubai please.i could‘nt find the information
land such as dirt or soil
Q: how do u find it?
The additive inverse of a number N is the element which when added to N produces the unity element for addition (zero). So... N and -N are additive inverses of each other. To get the additive inverse of a number, multiply the number by -1. More specific examples of additive inverses: (-5, 5), (3, -3), (1.4, -1.4)
Q: What chemicals are used as additives in gasoline?
MTBE (methyl- tert- butyl ether) - toxic and penetrates ground water ethanol methanol isopropanol and a couple more ols and a lot more!
