Q:Are Metal Oxides (MgO, etc.) Acidic or alkali. And what bought metal hydroxides (KOH)
Metals are weak on holding their electrons so in reactions they tend to lose them to non metals and form ionic compounds in which they are positively charged and the non metal negatively charged. There is the reactivity series of metals and any metal higher than another will displace it from its compounds, reactivity decreases from top to bottom.
Q:Regular like as in pure. Old Metallica, Exodus, testament, Judas Preist, iron maiden, Bkack Sabaith, Dio, Skayer, Anthrax, MegaDeth, ect.Nu-metal: Linkin park, Korn, Slipknot, System of a down, five finger death punch, Godsmack, Flyleaf, Skillet, Rage against the machine, POD, Limp Bizkit, ect.I like Reg. but tell me what you prefer and why
Lancenigo di Villorba (TV), Italy Did you need of two examples about SYNTHETIC METALs? TECNETIUM as Tc (Atomic Number 43) NEPTUNIUM as Np (Atomic Number 93)...did you know them? In effects, Tecnetium is the LONELY SYNTHETIC METAL HAVING ATOMIC NUMBER LOWER THAN 92... Hence, TECNETIUM and TRANSURANIC CHEMICAL ELEMENTs may be your answers.... I hope this helps you.
Q:I have played only Metal Gear Solid:3 ..... can anyone tell me all of the names of Metal Gear Solid Series?
And what about mainstream heavy metal? Or non-mainstream rock? Why would you compare those two? If you're going to base it on the mainstream for one genre, do the same for both. People who hate bands just because they're mainstream are exactly the same as the people who only listen to what's popular.
Q:In general they seem similar, although I know that the nature of the lyrics differs between them, but what exactly is the difference between Metal Core and Death Metal?
For me Lamb of God and Chimaira have a close call.
Q:covalent or ionic? for example sodium reacts with lithium. both atoms have one electron in outer shell, both metals and are in group 1. what happens?
That's more along the lines of pop rock, which I know nothing of. I'd say to ask about recommendations from that genre.
Q:Ive played all the mgs games for ps2: MGS:vr mission, MGS1,2 and 3, but I seen Metal Gear Acid on the psp?!?! where exactly does Metal Gear Acid fall in the storyline??was it before snake went to Alaska or was It sometime between one of the mgs1 and 2?
Is Aluminum A Transition Metal

Metalloid is a term used in chemistry when classifying the chemical elements. On the basis of their general physical and chemical properties, nearly every element in the periodic table can be termed either a metal or a nonmetal - however a few elements with intermediate properties are referred to as metalloids. (In Greek metallon = metal and eidos = sort) There is no rigorous definition of the term, however the following properties are usually considered characteristic of metalloids: metalloids often form amphoteric oxides. metalloids often behave as semiconductors (B,Si,Ge) to semimetals (eg. Sb). The concepts of metalloid and semiconductor should not be confused. Metalloid refers to the properties of certain elements in relation to the periodic table. Semiconductor refers to the physical properties of materials (including alloys, compounds) and there is only partial overlap between the two. The following elements are generally considered metalloids: Boron (B) Silicon (Si) Germanium (Ge) Arsenic (As) Antimony (Sb) Tellurium (Te) Polonium (Po) Some allotropes of elements exhibit more pronounced metal, metalloid or non-metal behavior than others. For example, for the element carbon, its diamond allotrope is clearly non-metallic, however the graphite allotrope displays limited electric conductivity more characteristic of a metalloid. Phosphorus, tin, selenium and bismuth also have allotropes which display borderline behavior. In the standard layout of the periodic table, metalloids occur along the diagonal line through the p block from boron to astatine. Elements to the upper right of this line display increasing nonmetallic behaviour; elements to the lower left display increasing metallic behaviour. This line is called the stair-step or staircase. The poor metals are to the left and down and the nonmetals are to the right and up. In addition, the halogens are found at the right.
Q:What do you like and dislike about these sub genres of metal?Power MetalDeath MetalBlack MetalThrash MetalMetalcoreDoom MetalDeathcoreStoner Metal Groove MetalIf I forgot about one please add it and state your opinions.
when nonmetals react with each other, they form covalent bonds. a bond can be polar covalent if there's a slight difference in electronegativity or the distribution of the charge is not even. It will be nonpolar if there is no difference in electronegativity or there is an even distribution of charge. :)
Q:i think it was a good addition to metal, but others don't seem to agree.
Dream Theater Yngwie Malmsteen Morbid Angel Cradle of Filth Black Sabbath Corrosion of Conformity Pantera Symphony X Six Feet Under Napalm Death Carcass Immolation Benediction Incantation Dismember Earth Crisis Fear Factory Megadeth Slayer Metallica (80s-90s) Deicide Morgoth Voivod Venom Death Obituary Cannibal Corpse
Q:Name your favorite sub-genres of metal and name a few bands from each sub-genre you mention as well. My favorites are thrash metal, metalcore, death metal, deathcore, technical death metal, melodic thrash metal, and melodic metalcore. I don't mind symphonic black metal either, although I have only heard one band (Abigail Williams) that I like so far.
NO! If anything, metal back then is better than metal now. People love stereotyping metal, saying oh its just satanic screaming and stuff and stupid accusations like that. Most people who hate metal, hear it everyday and just don't know it. Old school metal, especially, is what made rock and metal today, and even spawned off and inspired alot of other artists. Now then *waits for loads of agreements, or loads of pop and rap kids to start stating retarded crap, followed by some poseurs bringing up metalcore and nu-metal
