Q:Looking to get a new set of irons toward the end of this years golf season and just sort of starting to look into planning for what I should look for. I currently have the Ping g10‘s. Starting to grow out of them and my swing coach recommends a bit different style as well. What I mean is he said that I should look for irons right in between blades or players irons and game improvement irons. Kind of like a half blade iron. Not fully sure what I should look for. Any recommendations? Please give more than just the brand.
Nike Pro Combos. Great mix between cavity backs and blades. A little more like a cavity for 3-5 iron to help get those longer iron shots airborne, and more like blades for shorter clubs to give you the most shot-making ability. Solid clubs. Even Tiger, I believe, used a Pro Combo 3 iron for some time before switching to the Pro Blade to complete the set.
Q:i keep having these like dizzy spell where the whole room gets really light and i start falling over but im able to keep myself up. it lasts like 3 minutes at the most. my neighbor told me that i might be amnemic so my mom is taking me to a doctor soon. what can i do before i get a chance to go to the doctor to get more iron. im just scared that its going to happen to me at school.
The iron in red meat is readily absorbed so it is a good source of iron. Vitamin C also helps to absorb iron so plenty of fruit and vegetables in conjunction with red meat wil boost your iron levels. There is also plenty of iron in nuts.
Q:If Iron was to get into out water supply, would it be harmful? If so, how much would need to get in the water in order for it to be a threat?EXTRA QUESTION: Solubility of Iron in water?
Well i will try to make my answer simple. 1. Drinking water contaminated with iron is definitely harmful. Iron reacts with water over time to form Iron Oxide(rust). 2. Now that you know the contaminant is iron rust, you can judge what quantity of it in water will affect your health. When negligible amount of rust continuously accumulate in your body, then over years, it would affect your health to a great extent(some surveys say that it may even cause cancer). 3. Iron, as a metal doesn't dissolve in water normally. Rather, it forms oxide on prolonged exposure to water. Iron Oxides/Salts readily dissolves in water to form a Oxide/Salt solution. Hope that helps!
Q:Normally I have never enjoyed chewing or eating ice but as of the past week or two all I can think about is chewing and eating ice. About a month ago I did give blood. But other then that I have no other idea of why I might be iron deficient because normally I have high levels of iron. And doesn‘t chewing ice suddenly mean I have become iron deficient? Should I see a doctor if this is the case? I have no other symptoms that anything is wrong.
Iron anemia can lead to dizziness and fatigue. There are good amounts of iron in oysters and mussels. Nuts are a good source of iron and also iron fortified cereals such as Weetbix. Wheat germ and wheat bran are both rich in iron. Perhaps you need an iron supplement.
Q:Who would win and why?I say Iron Fist!
iron fist.he one of tha best hand to hand fighterz in tha marvel universe and nothing beat tha power of chi.
Q:I always thought beets were high in iron, but recently looking on the nutritional label of a jar of beets, I saw absolutely 0% iron. there is however quite a bit of potassium, which of course is good. Any comments on the iron thing?
Beets in a jar would have been cooked, destroying all of the good nutrients. The iron in beets is actually in the beet greens, which are great juiced with some other leafy greens, such as swiss chard, spinach, celery, parsley, cucumber, carrots, and apple. Trace amount of iron are present in the beetroot, provided they are consumed raw, as cooking depletes many of the vitamins and enzymes. Raw beet makes a wonderful addition to a nice raw salad.
Q:How long after taking iron supplements should see you see health improvement especially energy wise.Thanks.
You will usually see the results of any dietary supplement in about 30 days of consistently taking the supplement.
Q:What is the difference between malleable iron and wrought iron? Can malleable iron be made into jewlery? Where can I buy malleable iron?
Malleable iron is the oldest member of the family of nodular irons. Like all nodular irons, malleable iron exhibits good ductility. Incorrectly considered by some to be an old or dead material, malleable iron still has a legitimate place in the design engineer's toolbar. Malleable is the iron of choice for small castings or castings with thin cross sections (less than .25). Other nodular irons tend to be difficult to produce in these applications. Malleable iron is also preferred for castings seeing duty in low temperature environments since it retains its ductility better than other nodular irons at low temperatures. Used for small castings requiring good tensile strength and the ability to flex without breaking (ductility). Electrical fittings, hand tools, pipe fittings, washers, brackets, fence fittings, power line hardware, farm equipment, mining hardware, and machine parts. Wrought iron is commercially pure iron. In contrast to steel, it has a very low carbon content. It is a fibrous material due to the slag inclusions (a normal constituent). This is also what gives it a grain resembling wood, which is visible when it is etched or bent to the point of failure. Wrought iron is tough, malleable, ductile and easily welded. Examples of items that used to be produced from wrought iron include: rivets, chains, railway couplings, water and steam pipes, raw material for manufacturing of steel, nuts bolts, horse shoe bars, handrails, straps for timber roof trusses, boiler tubes, and ornamental ironwork.
Q:Could anyone recommend iron pills? or do you have to buy multi vitamins with iron in it?If you might know, please let me know. thankyou
Only take iron if your doctor recommends it, they are meant to treat anemia, not to maintain health like other supplements. The doses are quite high so if you aren't anemic you could end up poisoning yourself. Unless your doctor told you to take iron, stick with a multivitamin, they contain iron but in lower dosages That being said, the most effective is heme iron. Your body processes it like it's real food, not metal
