- Q: I'm eligible for an upgrade, and I would like to know your opinions on whether I should get the G2, or MyTouch 4G. Before anyone answers, yes I am aware T-Mobile (like many other carriers) may not be as strong in your area, as it is in mine. I'm not looking for any comments about T-Mobile, or how the IPhone is so much better than any of them etcI'm seeking what owners have found as Pro's Con's of each type of phone. Like what's the difference between G2's Stock Android, and MyTouch's adaptation of it. If you are a current owner of either of these phones, you're experiences be they positive or negative. Would be great to read to help me make a choice. Thanks!
- I don't live in the US so I don't really know how bad T-Mobile is. I haven't heard of the MyTouch 4G, but I have heard of the G2 (but known as the HTC Desire Z outside of US). I've heard good thigns about the G2, it's a pretty good phone, there aren't really much of a problem with it. The only flaw that some people have reported is that while sliding out the keyboard, the wire that connects the screen to the actual phone becomes exposed and it looks fragile like it would break at some point (the wire is important because if it becomes detached the screen will not work). Although, no one has reported an incident with it. So you should be fine with it. The good thing about it is that it runs on Stock Android meaning that you can update as soon as Google releases a new version of Android. HTC phones are pretty good in terms of quality and I know people with HTC phones so, I'd recommend it.
- Q: I want to get Virgin Mobile, but their option list of cell phones are limited. I know that you can buy other phones and still use VM with it. Problem is, I don't know what phones I can use! If someone could tell me the names of phones i can use, id be very grateful! I'm interested in Anroid and Blackberry phones
- You can buy any CDMA phone (Verizon, Sprint, Metro, Boost) and flash it for Metro PCS service. You cannot buy GSM phones (ATT or T-Mobile) since these are built on a different technology. Caution, regular flash will allow you to use phone for talk and text. However, if you want to use data services such web or email you will need to fully flash the phone.
- Q: I really want to know how to send instant messages to mobile phones using Yahoo! Messenger Please help me!
- Yahoo! Messenger keeps you connected even when you're away from your PC. There are two ways to use Yahoo! Messenger with your mobile phone: *Send IMs as text messages from your PC to your friends' mobile phones *Sign into Yahoo! Messenger from your mobile phone and send IMs to your friends when you're away from your PC To start using Yahoo! Messenger right from your phone, find out which version works best for your phone model, it's easy! *Go to Yahoo! Mobile *Choose your carrier *Enter your phone brand and model
- Q: If you have a t-mobile phone you know that your phone sometimes says other services than t-mobile under the service indicator. Because when your t-mobile service is down the netowrk works off of the other towers. Anyway, my t-mobile service is always two bars or less in my home area. I use to be able to work off of cellularone and att but now it says SOS. How do I make it not say SOS so I can work off of the stronger tower in my area? If I won't be able to make it stop, how can I boost my t-mobile service? Don't say get another phone cause I can't. I'm under two year contract. Thanks.
- my son has ATT Go Phone and pays $20 for unlimited messages the phones to choose from are much better than Virgin.
- Q: Any way to watch live tv on mobile phone? thanks

- Q: I am trying my luck for the one last time if T-Mobile right for me. the phone i have is motorala razr which really terrible- poor reception, dropped calls etc. any suggestion just a simple tmobile phone with good reception , that is all in needed
- Ho, ho, ho. Its the late Noughties, not the 1990s - reception is no longer an issue now. There are mobile phone receivers hidden in: Office blocks Flats Trees Lamp posts Farm buildings Industrial sites The list goes on. What I am trying to say is that back in the 90s, when mobiles were just beginning to get commercially popular and available there were nowhere near as many mobile phone masts since the market didn't demand it; not enough people were using mobiles. Now everyone has one and reception is simply not an issue with ANY operator unless you live up a high mountain or in the Outer Hebrides, which I doubt you do. The huge increase in customers has meant mobile phone operators have placed receivers EVERYWHERE. So, lose the 1990s reject opinion of cellular technology and simply find the best deal possible on whichever operator it is. Reception differing on individual network operators is utter, weapons-grade bullsh!t. Differing reception between operators is such a misnomer these days that if you do suffer from bad reception, it is more likely to be your PHONE than the operator itself. And even if you do wonder into an area where your operator does not have a mast, then your mobile will automatically switch into the next nearest mast and it doesn't matter which operator hosts it. So why would anyone ever have a reception issue these days unless they are using a leather case lined with lead.
- Q: i seen a verizon phone that i had b4 just with virgin mobile. its the same exact phone just with a verizon plan so i was wondering if i could take it to a cricket phone store and have them convert it like they do with virgin mobile phones. is this possible???????
- yes it is, i've done it before. it would be impossible to do that with a t-mobile phone or att since they use SIM cards, but virgin mobile, sprint, verizon, and cricket all run on CDMA. but cricket won't be able to flash it for you, some cricket stores do but non that i've been too, you'll have to look up online for stores in your location that will flash it for you. let me explain what flashing is. flashing is basically re-wiring your phones hardware to work with another service provider. there are two kinds of flashing, full flash and partial flash. FULL FLASH: this means that when your phone is fully flashed to work on crickets network, talk, text, pix, web etc will all work. PARTIAL FLASH: this means that ONLY talk and text will work some phones can be both fully and partially flashed, some phones can only be partially flashed and not fully flashed, and some phones cannot be flashed at all. it all depends on the phone, and the store you take it to. just write down the phones model and company (LG, motorola, etc) and call the store you want to go to and ask them if they can flash it. if you want it fully flashed, make sure you clearly specify that you want it FULLY flashed. fully flashing a phone will be more expensive that partially flashing. full flashes can typically go anywhere from $40 to $70 dollars. this all depends on the phone, and who you go to, to get it flashed. there are people on craigslist sometimes who can flash phones, but i would choose a business over a random dude on craigslist anyday so yes it is possible, depending on the phone
- Q: how can i get exact location of some mobile phone using some commands or software or internet website as free service/software?Thanks/RegardsRupali V.
- When your mobile is on it sends a signal to the nearest transmitter periodically, so the rough area can be easily identified by the mobile phone company. This info can be shared with the police with a court order. For anything more accurate you need quite sophisticated equipment that can triangulate your position and that is very precise. However, the authorities would need a good reason to do this and it is very expensive. Hence why it is not often used to track missing persons.
- Q: I am trying to cancel my Virgin Mobile account because I am planning on selling that phone. I have already gotten a new phone and the VM one has just been sitting around. I tried calling 1-888-322-11-22 but I don't know where to go from there.
- Virgin Mobile Cancel Account
- Q: Phone did not sound how to get?
- If not mute the function of the words, then you can try to restore all the settings of the phone.
