- Q: I like Nu-Metal, I'm sitting in my own little nu-metal world content as can be. Some death heads come knocking and have to force their 'brutal' on me and my friends, 90% of the stuff they called 'true metal' made me bored.They come back, seem to have this idea that brutality defines good metal music. - Most metal detectors work based on electrical inductance. When something that conducts electricity is close enough to affect the electromagnetic field generated by the sensing coil, the electronics detect a change in inductance and that triggers the alarm or the light or the sound. Metals, by definition, conduct electricity. Magnetic fields will also affect the inductance of a coil and there are things that conduct electricity that are not metals (example is graphite). Hg is a fine conductor so a metal detector will detect it.

- A semi conductor and a conductor differ mostly in the number of free electrons in the element. I'm not clear on what you mean by generate electricity as they do not normally generate electricity but are used to make various electronic components (transistors and such ) silicon,germanium are two examples.
- Q: I have to watch these videos of non identifiable substances and all it shows is it's Appearance, Malleability, Conductivity and reaction in water and acid. I don't know how I would know if these substances were non metal or metal? Any ideas?

- System is more Rock metal. Slipknot is Hardcore, not really metal. and Slayer and Black Sabbath are true metal. well actually you could classify Slayer as Hardcore/Metal
- Q: Also, what is the difference between death metal and dark metal?
- Metal is first divided into the various types then each type is sent to a specific furnace which melts the metal down and impurities are skimmed off to maintain purity. Then the molten metal is poured into a mold, hardened then brought to a refinery where it is refined to a very high % then poured into bars weighing about 30 lbs. then sold to customers all over the world. I live in a smelter toen and we deal with this all fo the time. My summer jobs while in University included this work.
