Easy Crockpot Turkey Breast 1 whole turkey breast, thawed ? cup of Water (yep, that's all you need!) 1 Packet of Ranch Dressing Mix 1 Packet of Italian Dressing Mix 1 Packet of Turkey or Chicken Gravy Mix Put breast in crockpot, pour water around the baseSprinkle all 3 dry seasoning packets over roastCover and cook for 6-7 hours on lowRemove to cutting board and let sit 15 minutes; slice thinly across the grain (electric knife works best) It makes great tasting gravy, too.
Q: I crocheted a ladybug hat and am in process on crocheting a matching blanket for an upcoming baby showerI prefer to stay away from the acryllic yarns and the one I've been using lately (for adult sized hats) is Paton 100% woolI grabbed a couple skeins of red and started crocheting away and didn't think about it until nowI read on their website that it is merinoI saw that some people have a lanolin allergy, but there's lanolin in baby wipes, lotion and sunblock tooShould I finish my project or do I scrap the whole thing and start over again? If so, what fiber do I use?
Count the carbs as usualOatmeal is higher in fiber.
Q: I went to the ER two days ago and they told me I have gastritis, so I am trying to watch what I eat and drinkBut I kind of want to flush my system outSo will prune juice make my stomach hurt or should I be ok? Thanks also, what other things do you suggest I eat or drink?
It is okay to drink some prune juice to clean out your digestive system and to get things goingAlso carrot juice, apple juice, and cranberryCranberry juice does contain citric acidIf your stomach is especially sensitive to citric acid, talk with your doctor about other ways to get cranberry in your dietTry to eat more whole foods such as vegetables, fruits (without peels if they’re irritating) and whole grainsFiber, especially water-soluble fiber, is excellent for the stomach because it gives stomach acid plenty to do while buffering the effects of any potential irritantsLower, but not extremely low-fat foods will help prevent further discomfortSmall, frequent meals keep the stomach from over secreting acid I like oatmeal myself.
Q: I am buying a house and during the home inspection we found that the attic is about 80% covered in black moldThere is no vent leading outside of the houseWhat can we ask the seller's to do to fix this? What is the best way to fix it? 5 years down the road I don't want to have the same problem if we try to sell the house.
Season the chops on both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper and brush with olive oilPlace the chops on a broiler panTurn the broiler onPut the chops under the broiler (about 3 from the heat coil)Leave the oven door openWhen the chops have browned, turn them over and let them brown on the other side It takes about 5 minutes for the chops to broil on one side and only about 2 minutes on the other sideBut don't walk awayKeep an eye on themYou don't want them to overcookYou don't have to pre-heat the broilerIt is ready to cook right away Another hint: let the chops come to room temperature before cooking and then let them rest 10 or 15 minutes after they're cooked.
Q: I bought the wrong ply wool , I needed 300gms of 4 ply but bought 400 gms of 3 ply insteadIt's for a baby blanket and the pattern says to use a size 4.00 mm crochet hookShould I use a different size hook ?Thank you.
Uhhmmmm, thats not a guest houseThat is a machine/garden tools shed.
Q: Hello,I have a cape style home and the second floor gets ridiculously hot in the summerThe attic is well insulated but it is still really hot upstairsCentral air is too expensive so I'm trying to find more cost effective ways to cool the house down a bitI was thinking of installing a ridge vent, an attic fan (that blows exhuast outside of home) or a house fan that pulls air from the house and blows into atticThe problem with the ridge vent is that I don't think the eaves are vented property to get the system to work efficiently. So from your experience, which is most effective (aside from air conditioning)
With insulation, the thicker and fluffier the betterInsulation will fluff up some out of the packageYou might consider blow in insulationThe Home Depot store here rents a machine quite cheaply to blow it in and it's better because it fills every cranny and can be put in 12 or 16 deepIf you do it though, be sure to put in the little cardboard fences they sell to keep the insulation from going over into your soffitt spacesYou don't want to block off free air movement through your soffitt vents.
Q: What is a naturAl la dative?
Are you trying to ask What is a natural laxative? That is my best guess If soA natural laxative refers to any foods or herbs, extracted from nature that gives stimulation to evacuation process of the bowelsIt achieves this by causing relaxation and looseness of the bowelsThey help prevent constipation and restore balance as they maintain a regular digestive systemHowever, a substance (food or herbs) has to contain an action required in order to be considered a natural laxativeNatural laxatives work differentlyThe way dried fruit will work is different from the way herbs will workNatural laxatives do not contain chemicals, which then differentiates them from drugsAs laxatives, they assist in eliminating toxins and waste from the body, and give freedom from digestive complicationsSome specific natural laxatives include Avocados, Almonds, Aloe Vera, Apple juice, Cabbage, chicken broth, Coconut, Coffee, Plums, Senna pods, Psyllium Husks and seeds, Cassia Pulp, pears, spicy foods, Turnips, Papayas, Watercress, Prunes, Nuts and Dried Apricots among othersDrinking plenty of water and getting good exercise are also very helpfulNatural laxatives strengthen the colon and help cleanse the walls of the colon thus restore and promote its proper function in the bodyThey are rich in soluble fiber thus reduce on the insoluble fiber that causes constipation.
