Not so many devices these days actually run directly on 12Vdc - usually they run on 5, 6, 7, 9, etc., Vdc. Rather than restrict yourself to only 12 Volt devices, how about investing in some good quality power Inverters that convert 12Vdc power sources to 110 VAC. Now all those gadgets that use 110 VAC input to convert down to 5, 6, 9, 12, 14, etc Vdc will work off of a single (or multiple) Inverters. Your wind generators, solar panels charge your 12V power bank and your 12Vdc to 110Vac Inverters power everything else in the house.
