Description

Ferro Silicon uses coke, quartz (or silica) as raw materials and is made by electric furnace. Because silicon and oxygen are easily compound into SiO2, the ferrosilicon is often used as deoxidizer in steelmaking.

Features

 1. Ferrosilicon also can be used as alloy elements join agent, which is widely used in low alloy steel, non-ferrous metal, bearing steel, heat-resistant steels and electrician silicon-steel.

2. Ferro silicon can be used as a reductant in ferroalloy production and chemical industry.

3 In iron industry it can be used as inoculant and nodulizer.

Q: I just got the fortune lll enchantment, and i tried to mine redstone, gold and iron ore with it, and in all the cases i got as many drops as with a normal stone pickaxe, is it a bug? This is on XBOX edition
i had a diamond pick axe with fortune 2 on it and it never give me any extra restone dust i got the same using an iron pick, that is 4-6 redstone dust same when i was using the fortune 2 pick, so to me it made no difference. the fortune pick never worked on iron or gold but it does for diamond i am sure of and i play on pc.
Q: I am curious how people smelt iron.
You heat it up the rock melts and floats, the iron melts and sinks then depending you either break the rock away after or have a tube near the bottom from which the iron pours out
Q: a. copper b. iron ore c. fossil fuels d. halite
well, an OIL additive will probably not help that. a FUEL additive will stop the pinging if its due to the cheapskate behind the wheel who doesn't buy the expensive gas. hey dude, gm and chevy are the same company. and since when are college professors telling the truth to anyone??
Q: what is the weight of iron contained in 100g of an iron ore which is 80% hematite, Fe2O3
In the 100 g of iron ore, you have 80% (or 80 grams) of Fe2O3. The molecular weight of Fe2O3 is 159.69. The atomic weight of Iron is 55.85, and you have 2 Fe per mole Fe2O3. Therefore, you can take a siomple ratio of iron and Fe2O3: Grams Fe [2* (Weight Fe)/(Weight Fe2O3)] x 80 grams (55.85*2/159.68869*80) 55.96 grams. Now, you teacher really only gave you one sig fig with the data, so really you should only report one sig fig in the answer: 60 grams. As I tell everyone, report both numbers, explaining that since you were restricted to one sig fig, you need to report only one (but giving the other number shows you know what you are doing!). Hope that helped!
Q: A sample of iron ore consists only of haematite(Fe2O3) and contains 65% iron, what is the percentage of haematite in the ore?Answer : 92.9%Thanks for any responses.
If there was only Haematite in the ore there would be 69.94% iron (mFe2 / mHaematite). Provided there is only 65% of iron in the sample, so there must be some non-iron compounds in the ore. To find out how many % the Hematite is you take the 65% / 69.94% 92.9%
Q: How did banded iron formation form? What happened at the end of BIF formation?
This Site Might Help You. RE: How did banded iron formation form? What happened at the end of BIF formation?
Q: What are the processes to make iron in the early iron industry?
In the west, at the beginning of the Iron Age, a type of furnace called a bloomery was used for treating iron ore. It was a pit or chimney with walls of clay, earth, or stone--heat resistant. Clay pipes near the bottom allowed air to get in. Charcoal was used to heat the bloomery. Iron ore and more charcoal was added through the top.The process reduces iron oxides metallic iron without melting it. The first blast furnaces for iron were developedin China.
Q: The ore of iron
Hi DAB CRAGE, . . . what is the question ?
Q: How to judge the grade of iron ore intuitively?
The weight of the charge! But the ore irregular you never knew if he had multiple, is heavy! So you get a graduated cup! The ore and see how much is this ore volume, then weighing with the weight divided by the volume density is denser! More good ore!
