Q:Good Characterisics of Plastic?
Plastic vs. ? Cheap to make and purchase. Disposable (I mean recyclable). Flexible, maliable, ~non-breakable, durable, light weight. Can be made into an almost infinate types of products, various colors, transparent non-, dishwasher safe. Good as containers, e.g. milk and a variety of packaging. If it wasn't for plastic, It would be Paper or Paper at the grocery store. Neighbor ladies would host paperware parties.
Q:I need to make plastic stuff?
(resins and similar materials) Some molds will need releases though depending on the materials you use for the molds and for the casts inside them. HTH, Diane B.
Q:Plastic water bottles, leching and cancer?
Water bottles like the ones you usually carry in a purse, backpack, etc. are not good to use over and over again because they are made with cheaper plastics and they begin to break down and then they can leach out chemicals. However the 5 gallon jugs are made of a more dense plastic that doesn't break down as easily (although they may need to be replaced eventually). I have not heard anything about Nalgene water bottles. But if you are interested in reading about them, I googled it and found this article: trusted.md/blog/vreni_gurd/2007/03/29/plastic_water_bottles I hope this helps you! ( :
Q:Questions about plastic bottles ?
confident, that's authentic which you mustn't reuse plastic bottles because of the fact they leach volatile plastic chemical residues into the water. I even have heard that the excellent element to do is get a metallic canteen and fill that with water on the go, i've got faith that countless agencies sell those, like tenting supply places. sturdy success!
Q:PVC what's the bundle? It doesn't slip
In terms of product quality. The main difference between SG-8 and SG-7 resin is in viscosity number. Other indexes have little difference. In production, the risk coefficient of SG-7 resin is greater than that of resin. The production cost is basically the same as the SG-8 resin, SG-7 resin, which is slightly higher than the SG-7 type. Most enterprises indicate that the cost of SG-8 is slightly higher than that of SG-5, but there is a slight difference in the cost spread between the different enterprises. Need to and other types of enterprises, the cost is slightly higher than SG-8 type SG-5 type between 100-150 yuan / ton, but the line production enterprises said SG-8 and SG-5 costs less.
Q:is a plastic cage ok for rats?
I'm guessing you are the person who just emailed me with the same question, but I'll post my answer here as well so other people may benefit. A plastic cage is generally not a good idea. They can chew it and escape, and they are also often too small as they are made for hamsters, and since they are not very well ventilated it can cause the ammonia from the rat's urine to build up and cause respiratory problems. A rat needs at least 2 cubic feet of space, so the cage should be at least that large. If your rat has tiny babies, though, she will be fine in a plastic cage for now, but once the babies are 4-5 weeks old you can move her into a larger wire cage if the bar spacing is narrow enough.
Q:Looking for outdoors Greenhouse Plastic?
I get mine from MD Plants and Supplies. They deliver to the northeast (MD, DE, PA, NJ, and other states)
Q:Paper or Plastic ?????
Plastic is Always Better! ...Well , Not in Boobs... LMAO
Q:recycling: putting various plastics in?
If the plastic doesn't have a symbol (#1 through #7), it will probably be thrown away when it gets to the processing center. One of the reasons that recycling costs so much and isn't free (a common remark among recyclers) is that people must be paid to pull out things that aren't recyclable from the tons of plastics that arrive at processing centers daily. This isn't always done by hand, of course, but many recyclers will just chuck everything into their bins even if the processing center doesn't want it. If your recycling center says they will accept all plastic no matter if it's marked or not, put it in your recycling bin. If the recycling center says #1 - #5 plastics only, then don't put in anything that isn't marked. Plastics are recycled according to their contents, and the #1 - #7 tells the processing center what to do with that particular plastic. Bottom line? It isn't bad, but if the recycling center says they don't want unmarked plastics, then it will just get thrown away.
Q:why use plastic canvas yarn?
This is one time that I recommend Red Heart Supersaver Yarn. It is fantastic for working with plastic canvas: It's thick, wear-resistant, and holds its shape.* It comes in a ton and a half of colors, so you can find whatever color or blend your heart desires including sparkly ones. It's cheap. The only drawback is, if you just need a little bit of a color, you will have a lot of yarn leftover. Then, use plastic canvas yarn. *I made plastic canvas/Supersaver Christmas tree ornaments in 1991 that have been used on trees by 5 families every year since and stored in a variety of attics and unheated garages between holidays. They still look new.
