- Absolutely, those are the main two exercises that work your pecs. Make sure you do as many as you possibly can every other day. In my opinion you should not be able to do a pushup the next day (your rest day), but thats how i decided how hard i worked out. Good Luck!

- I was on the power lifting team in high school and was in the 101 weight class and benched 145. So I think that you are doing good. My advice to you would be to do more strength training with lighter weight that way you can lift the heavier weights with ease. try to do anywhere from 55-65% of your 1 rep max, 3-4 sets fo 12-15 reps. this should help you on your ballistic power as well as overall strength. Lifting lighter weights is not just for toning but is also for building strength. Lifting heavier, as you already know is more for building mass.also make sure not to drop below 90- degrees when performing any kind of press or fly moves. The reason being is that you have a small muscles called the superspinatus muscle that is the size of your pinky. when you drop below 90-degrees you put and undo amount of stress on that small muscle to try to lift 250, all you are doing is stressing it and once yo stress it enough you will eventually snap it and you will not be able to do bench press for a while. This is the leading cause of most shoulder injuries because people are not aware of what they are asking that muscle to do. you can strengthen this area by doing rotary cuff exercises with no more than 5 lb. weights.
- Q: I am a little over 21 weeks pregnant and just recently felt the baby move on the outside of my belly pretty good...acutally starting on Friday we could feel the baby kick or move on the outside if I pressed in the area I felt the baby move. I find myself pressing down, not hard, more often trying to feel the baby move...am I doing any harm? - You're not causing any harm to the baby! I do that too, and it's not harmful at all. Remember that the baby is surrounded by amniotic fluid and your uterus, so it's got a few layers of padding protecting it. Also, the doctor presses down when feeling the baby, and doesn't cause any harm! The only thing I'll warn you about is this: it doesn't always work, so don't freak out when it doesn't. It used to work for me all the time, and then around 28 weeks or so, the baby must have shifted position or something and didn't react the same way when I pressed down, and I totally freaked. My doctor reassured me that it was just a change in position, and I still feel my baby move, but the kid still doesn't react like it used to to me pressing my abdomen. The other thing to keep in mind is, you don't have to worry about irregular baby movements until you reach the third trimester. Then, you need to do kick counts and pay attention to the baby's movement patterns, and if the baby doesn't move for a while, it's a cause for concern. But up until then, just enjoy the movements when you do feel them, and don't worry when you don't! Good luck!

- Q: Does the press work better with cold cookie dough or room temp cookie dough? So far room temp has been hard to work with and won't come off the plastic disk easily. I'm snowed in today and planning to bake, but want to know first if the dough needs to be room temp or cold......(one spritz recipie says one thing, and a different one says another.)
- I use my cookie dough at room temp. The best way for the cookie gun is to chill your baking sheets in the refridge for 5 minutes becuase the dough will then stick to the sheets and come off the gun easily. I uasally give the trigger 2 squeezes then tilt back and pull up on the gun. Don't grease or use any parchment papper at all.

- Well if your weak and can only bench that much, then why would it stunt your growth? If you can bench more, then bench more. working out wouldnt stunt growth but make you stronger
- Q: I'm in Girls weights and I can barely bench the 45 pound bar. I can do like 3 reps and then my arms give out. (we do a total of 5.) I can squat 95, incline press 35 and hang clean 35. I really need to be able to bench the 45 pound bar. Thats like the minimum weight for my class. Any tips on building up the muscle fast or something?
- Just lie on your stomach and press up as many reps as you can, arching your back. Do this several times a day. It's a very healthy exercise for your back as well as building up for pushups or bench press. You'll surprise yourself how quickly you build strength - 45 pounds is very light, so part of your problem is that your muscles simply aren't used to being worked at all. My guess is you'll be well past 45 pounds before you know it.
- Q: I was watching Martha Stewart and she had a guest with an interesting method of pressing roses, in which she would cut out part of the rose to be rid of a lot of the excess bulk, and then press it.I was wondering if anyone could give me specific instructions for how to do this, as I saw it a long time ago, and these roses had sentimental value (so I don't want to mess them up...).
- just press them the normal person non martha stewart way...it works fine, stick the roses in like a little sandwich bag but dont close it, like if its a ziplock, leave it open, and get a really big heavy book, usually a big a** bible works if you have one, and stick it right in the middle, leave it there for a few weeks.
