I have just made my christmas cake and its just out the oven sitting in its tin and paper aroundm it,, it says leav e in the tin in the recipe i used ,does everyone else do it this way or is it best to take it out of the tin etc.?
actaully, i take it out of the tin and wrap it in aluminium foil paper to keep the moisture
I put them in wax paper, then plastic wrap, and then aluminum foilIs there a better way?
What you are doing probably protects the meat well enough, but isn't that wax paper hard to remove if your meat isn't thoroughly thawed? I wrap fresh meat in saran, then put it in a freezer bagThere's no harm in adding foil but it's not necessary and a waste of good moneyI also save plastic bread bags for freezingAgain, make sure you get the air out and seal the bag tightly If you use freezer bags and they are clean inside, not greasy or bloody, you can use them several timesTake the frozen meat out of those bags and let it thaw in the fridge covered in the plastic wrap.
Any Answers:) Thank you
I am going to disagree with the ceramics engineer on several pointsMy orientation is from the glass end but I know a bit about ceramicsCeramics involves aluminum and silicon oxide materials and that is the major difference from glass which is silicon oxides with other alkali (sodium, potassium, and calcium) oxidesCeramics are not crystalline, they are bound together by vitrified materials, true, but that means glass like - the more glass, the more glass like - porcelain being the high end and requiring the highest temperaturesParts of ceramics never melt which makes them opaque and gives them their inner structure and texture and the ability to hold their shape while being fired Glass goes more or less molten while it is being worked and the processes involve keeping this stuff from sagging and distortingThe torch worker builds on a solid base and/or keeps much of the work cool to support the rest that is being heated in a torch flameThe furnace worker constantly rotates the work and adds more glass finally allowing the inner part to be stiffer while reheating the outside for shaping Glass is also shaped by putting a molten gob in a mold and pushing down (pressed glass) or blowing out (mold blown) to fill the mold Most heavy glassware glasses, bowls, plates, etcare pressed glass while most thin glasses and all bottles are blown Most ceramic ware including toilets are slip cast (liquid clay is poured in a plaster mold which sucks the moisture out of a layer so it stays in place when the extra clay slip is poured off) or it is pressed into molds The major difference between ceramics and glass is that at the art level it is possible to walk away from a ceramics piece and come back to it while glass must be constantly attended until stored in an annealer or it will sag or chill and shatter.
between the elements oxygen, scandium, aluminum, or cesium? thank youuu
OxygenSince, metals like aluminum and cesium have tendency to lose electronsSo, it will have less pull on its valence electronsScandium is also a metal and has the same tendency to lose electronsSo, it will have less pull on its valence electronsOxygen, being a non-metal has higher affinity for electrons due to its high electronegativity, and hence would like to have the strongest pull on its valence electronsThe electronegativity values for other elements is very less as compared to oxygenHope this helpsWW.

I was gonna answer with sarcasm.but your name changes thatI'll go with People will put in elevators for $2000, Alex.
I have a silver 2007 Jeep Commander Limited (chrome package)It's in almost perfect condition but lacks that certain look to it that distinguishes it as mineI'm looking to make it stick out in a clean, professional, nice waySo far I have matched the window tinting (~18% all around) and put slightly bluish LEDs in my license plate lights (for that BMW look) and it looks great so far (especially in a dark area at nightThose lights glow nice and I've had tons of compliments on them)Next is to put in HIDs I ordered from kbcarstuff (I got the ever so slightly bluish ones but I'm probably going to return them for white)Then I'm putting in a Pioneer AVIC-Z140BH head unitWhat else can I do that doesn't make it look trashy? Is there a way to add on turn signals that a lot of sedans have on the side of the car right behind the wheel well? Would that look stupid? Thanks! I appreciate any feedback, even if it's saying that something I've already done sounds rediculous-Matt

This is really not a DIY project, but here's how I'd handle itFind a electrician that will work for youYou can run the underground wire, etc and have him figure out the wire size and hook up the panelsThis is the only way your going to pas an inspection.
