Q:How to get decent power out of a chevy 350.?
As is, if the parts were replaced correctly, about 225 horse power. For one thing, Seems like the modifications were intended more to make the truck loud instead of more powerful. Loud does not always equal powerful. Did the installer simply slap on a few random parts or did they take the time to tune the engine and jet the carburetor? If the installer failed to jet the carburetor with these changes the engine could have actually lost about 15% power and fuel economy. Let's face it. Horsepower costs money. At least if you want to make any serious power. The biggest restriction on the Gen 1 SBC was not the mufflers or the intake, it was the cylinder heads. You can't make any serious power on a smogger SBC with the factory stock heads no matter what cam, intake, carb, or headers you use. But the problem is that a decent set of aftermarket heads cost big bucks. A decent set will set you back a couple of grand. But all in not lost if you are mechanically inclined and got the guts. You can port and polish your own heads to make them flow better. If you are a little mechanically inclined this is not out of the question. While you are at it you can do some port matching. The link below is a link to a video that will help get you started. If you get good at it, think of the possibilities. You could do head work on your friends engines and make a little money. You can use this money to buy more go fast parts for your truck.
Q:Will Banks Accept Faxed Power of Attorney out of State?
Ask the bank for their own POA form, have the tenant sign it in front of (probably 2) witnesses. Ask the bank if they need it notarized. The son doesn't need to sign the POA, but the tenant needs to sign a POA form the bank will accept. It's the TENANT's POA, not the son's. The tenant is giving power TO the son. So only the tenant's signature is needed. It would be simpler to ask the bank if the tenant can add the son to the account. That kind of thing can usually be done thru the mail (signature cards). I did this with my dad, out-of-state. I never went to his bank, but signed the cards and sent them back. In fact, I'm listed on one bank account that I never signed anything for.
Q:Why won't bank respect my power of attorney?
technically neither take precedence- cos they are 2 different things the trustee is required by law to ensure the terms of the trust are adhered to YOU with POA have the power to ensure they do (just as your parents would if you didnt have POA) YOU with POA have no power to change the terms of that trust just as your parents dont (or didnt) as you say - YOU only have control over their finances , what you dont have control over is the source of those finances (the trust) cos the trust is a separate entity from your parents (just like a company is a separate entity from its employees YOU (as an employee) only have control on how you spend your pay. but you dont control how much you get paid per hour/week/month - THATS down to the company)
Q:Why do big banks have a lot of power/influence?
Governments made a deal with them to lend almost unlimited amount of money to the governments -- added to public debt ultimately repaid by their citizens -- when those citizens refused to allow more taxes taking that money directly out of their pockets. In exchange the banks were permitted to create risky investments with potentially large returns and the government would charge the defaults from those risky investments again to citizens' public debt. The citizens are nowhere near innocent in the process, as stinking piles of propagandist crap have suckered you into believing. The governments need the ever-increasing amounts of money to create more extravagant programs thumb-sucking little children in adult bodies citizens demand. Those demand governments pretend to be their mommies and daddies and care for and protect them all ways and always. Governments can never protect citizens -- on the contrary they demand citizens come and die protecting them from enemies they make -- and most of the programs they create are far more expensive than if the citizens did it themselves. But citizens want to sit sucking their thumbs and cry for mommy or daddy government to fix it when the overpopulating hordes still spewing babies around the world crash economies by undercutting wages with their swarms of excess labor.
Q:why would YOU buy bank stocks?
A lot of bank stocks were depressed last November. I am not talking about Citibank. There were a lot of banks that were actually financially sound did not need TARP money. These banks were forced down when panic was hitting Wall Streets. If you look at the recent Stress test by the US government, there was a list a banks that was deemed stable. I think these banks are a good buy. Of course, as of today many of them have already risen an incredible amount. If only we have the power of hind sight.
Q:Is there a government organization or somthing I can report my bank to?
the bbb can help but you will have way beter luck dealing with high management bcause the bbb has to run an invesigation on such maters if talking to UM doesn't work then go to the bbb!
Q:I think I have a Super Power?
That's the coolest power ever you can stop bank robberies like nothing all you have to do is turn the lights off then move in between ten feet of them and then catch them by surprise then there gonna yell something like DAMN YOU TEN FOOT RADIUS MAN and your catch phrase can be Lights off
Q:what is an example of an expressed power?
The expressed powers of Congress are listed in the Constitution. Congress also has implied powers, to make any laws that are necessary and proper to carry out those expressed powers. 1789 The Constitution gives expressed powers to Congress in Article 1, Section 8. 1819 In McCulloch v. Maryland, the Supreme Court holds that the powers to tax, borrow, and regulate commerce give Congress the implied power to establish a national bank.
Q:How did the Medici Bank form and how did the Medici's operate it?
The banking industry really evolved out of a process of lending money out at interest. The Medici family was not the first into banking but seemed to figure out how to be more successful at it than many others. The Medicis were well-placed in society, over time and space, politically and religiously. Best to read from my source material. It is an interesting read and if you get your own copy (it was still available in the 1990's) you may be able to use it for further work if you continue on in the discipline of history. You need to know that there is a connection between the Medicis and Machiavelli.
Q:implied powers examples?
National Bank. McCulloch v. Maryland (1819). The express requirement/power/responsibility of the federal government to print currency, tax, and spend, necessarily implies a power to charter and establish a national bank as a place to store that money, to operate a bank with deposits and to issue promissory notes, and to pay the debts of the U.S. An express provision regarding taxing and spending necessarily implies any and all unenumerated powers deemed necessary by Congress to perform that function.
