Q:Because i could've sworn the United States was founded on the free market.and up until Washington (Democrats) in particular thought using fannie mae and freddie mac to control the housing sectorand backing all the home loansThe free market made us prosper.
Lincoln warned of the “money powers” and the banks -- said they were a greater enemy than the Southern Army was. But, particularly since Reagan deregulated banking and caused the SL scandal -- they’ve been in bed with D.C. Wall Street now hates Obama, so it seems that despite Republicans obstructionism, we’re getting somewhere.
Q:I went to one of the major banks in Australia as a non-customer with $80 worth of $20 Australian notes wanting to exchange them for $10 Australian notes and they said it will cost 10% ($8) to do it. How can it cost so much money to change money in the same currency? I can understand it costing money if it was a lot of money or I brought in heap of coins but this was literally 4 notes! Why are they so greedy for money hitting people who can least afford it?
This was just the bank's way of saying 'no' to you. Government rules probably say that banks must change money for consumers. So, the bank is following the letter but not the spirit of this rule. They are willing to change money for you. But they know that you probably won't want to change your money when they require you to pay 10% for this service. I suggest that you complain to your elected representative in the Australian Parliament. It's the elected politicians who make the rules and the laws for banks. And they have the power to change the way banks operate.
Q:2 weeks i think continuously and was only stopped by man , is this perpetual motion
No. It uses power from the Sun, and if it did not receive power from the sun it would stop functioning. It is able to continue to operate at night or in heavy overcast conditions on banked power (batteries, or other), but only for a limited time (That might be one of the reasons it was operated in the desert). A true perpetual motion machine would be one which did not take energy from anything outside of itself. Such a thing is impossible.
Q:also, why does Ron Paul appeal to the authority of Jackson and Jefferson to justify his position against the Federal Reserve Bank? What's the difference between the Fed and the National Banks?

Q:I am looking to get a power of attorney to make a purchase of a property for my mother. My mother is a foreign national, who travels to the US using a Visitors Visa. She currently has various US bank account. I would be making the purchase of a property using those account. How do i go about obtaining a power of attorney document in Virginia, USA. Where should the documents be file or does it just have to be notoried.?
Worried First, obtaining a loan for a foreign national is difficult if not impossible in any foreign country. Each bank has its own specific power of attorney for it own bank accounts. As for the real estate transaction, you should contact a title company. They will instruct you to which kind of P/A is needed in their state. It is usually a very specific power of attorney used only in connection with the purchase / sale and finance of a property and has limited or no powers other than that. so is transactional in nature. Q:Hello, big problem here! Live in Toronto, Canada. -Co-signed a car loan with my ex husband. We not together now.-He was primary signer I was secondary.-Failed to make payments from last July. Gave car to the bank (TD Canada Trust were financers)-I have a basic bank account with Scotiabank. How long before they attempt to freeze my bank account? I was told this is what they will do next, and will they freeze both our accounts or just one? Thanks for any insight at all.
Creditors do not have direct power to freeze bank accounts. They have to take you to court and win a judgement first. To be absolutely safe, if you have any significant amount of money in a bank account, pull it out in cash and put that in a safe or safe deposit box. It really wouldn't hurt that much as bank savings account rates earn close to 0% anyway.
Q:a. levying taxesb. creating banksc. establishing federal courtsd. coining moneye. admitting new states
b. creating banks Implied powers, in the United States, are those powers authorized by a document (from the Constitution) which, while not stated, seem to be implied by powers expressly stated. When George Washington asked Alexander Hamilton to defend the constitutionality of the First Bank of the United States against the protests of Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and Attorney General Edmund Randolph, Hamilton produced what has now become the classic statement for implied powers. Hamilton argued that the sovereign duties of a government implied the right to use means adequate to its ends. Although the United States government was sovereign only as to certain objects, it was impossible to define all the means which it should use, because it was impossible for the founders to anticipate all future exigencies. Hamilton noted that the general welfare clause and the necessary and proper clause gave elasticity to the constitution. Hamilton won the argument with Washington, who signed his Bank Bill into law.
Q:A power house on a river bank supplies power to a plant on the other side and 5 km. downstream. If the river is 3 km wide and the power line costs Php 4,000 per km. (Php is Philippine peso) on land and Php 5,000 per km. in water. Please show the detailed solution this problem is in differential calculus
A power house B C D plant we shall solve in general form then substitute values let AB w BC x BD wy cost ratio/km water:land k (5/4) angle BAC Θ dist. over water w?secΘ, dist. over land w(y - tanΘ) time C ∞ k?secΘ +(y - tanΘ) dC/dΘ k?secΘ?tanΘ - sec?Θ (ksinΘ - 1) / cos?Θ for minima, sinΘ 1/k which yields x w /√(k? - 1) 3/√((5/4)?-1) 2.25 km ----- you should now be easily able to compute the minimum cost
Q:He vetoed the bank because of his personal opinion. buthow did that give him more power.
Because at the time, most AMERICANS understood that having a central bank is NOT a good idea. The concept that WE THE PEOPLE should have to borrow money from private bankers in order to operate the system at all. Just think, there was an assassination attempt against President Jackson, and it is widely accepted that the bankers where responsible.
