Q:My kitchen faucet got broken, so i am trying to replace it with a new faucet. But here is my problem. I CANNOT uninstall the old faucet!!!! The main screw that holds the old faucet got rusty and the space around the screw is so little, I cannot uninstall it. It is so tight and it doesn't come out....I feel like if I continue trying, it may totally ruin the screw and it may never come out...Is there any advice for that? Pls help me!!!!

!st put CLR on it r some brand of Calcium,Lime Rust remover on it for hour or two the wd40 for same then some car oil or tranny fluid for same and lastly back to CLR. Worked for me when i had same problem. good luck You should get new screw and everything you need in new faucet kit

You didn't specify if this is a kitchen sink or bathroom sink. Many sinks - especially kitchen sinks - have specific areas where the faucet and/or any other accessories (sprayer, soap dispenser) should be mounted. If you're doing an undermount sink - you can pretty much choose where to put it - as long as you can use it successfully. I actually installed a very wide sink in my bathroom with a KITCHEN faucet that swivels installed centered behind it. This way, my spouse and I don't need 2 sinks - we just move the faucet to the side being used - works great. I think this question can be answered "yes", it works well if it works for YOU and as long as the plumbing is installed properly.

Q:So, my cat is about 10 years old now and up until a few months ago he would drink his water out of his designated water bowl we set out for him. But one day I filled up the sink in my bathroom to soak some clothes in it and I noticed he LOVED drinking out of it. But soon, that was the ONLY place he would drink out of. For awhile I would fill up the sink and leave it there for him, but eventually that wasn't good enough for him. Now the water has to be running and he sticks his head under to drink. He won't drink any other water any other way and it's getting rather irritating. He will sit in my bathroom and meow until I turn on the faucet for him, sometimes at ungodly hours while I'm sleeping, and he just won't quit! Why do you think he has such high expectations? And how can I break this habit he's gotten into?
