FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.

Q:I bought a 1 GB memory card for music, and i dont know hoe to put music on it or anything. I know how to put it into the phone but thats it lol. my laptop has a memory card reader but how do i put music on it from there?? Please help!
Insert your memory card in the card reader. A box will pop up that will give you some options on what you want to do with your card. Click on open folder to view files. Then copy/paste your songs into the folder.
Q:i bought a dynex card reader for my camera. i put the cd into my computer but its one of those small cds, and now i think its stuck i cant get it out and i have a macbook pro 13 bought in august. how do i fix this????
There is no easy way to fix this, and the unfortunate thing is you didn't even need to insert the cd in the first place because the Mac software will automatically pick up any memory card you use in the reader. My best advice to you is to take your MacBook Pro to a certified technician to remove it, as it's easy to damage the cd rom drive.
Q:I have a card reader/writer that shows up as 5 drives.I hate that; I really, really hate that.I would like it to show up as drive only when it has a card to read in it.You know like when you shove a USB memory stick into your PC's USB port, it only shows up as a drive when you plug it in.Or is there a way to permanently rename the 5 drives so that when I plug a card in the reader I know which one it is.I can change it, but it seems to rename its self back to Removable Disk (E:), (F:), (G:), (H:) and (I:) when I shut down or restart the computer.
Is it a multiple card reader? Like a 5 in one or a 7 in one card reader. If so the different slots you insert the cards to are actually identified as different drives or I/O devices. This is how your Operating System recognizes them. You can rename them, But you can't get it to be recognized as one drive or I/O device. How are you trying to rename them ? You should be able to open My Computer then right click on the device and click on properties. Rename it and click on apply. As long as you do not unplug the card reader from the computer it should retain the name for the device.
Q:Charger output current is not enough to affect the battery Mody
There are two ways to charge nickel and nickel-metal hydride batteries, that is, we all know "fast charge" and "slow charge."
Q:I have a brand new Gateway NV53 with a 'Multi-in-1 card reader'. It should be able to read all cards except the larger professional cards. Here's the problem, I have an SD cardbut it is smaller than normal sd cards. It is the same length, but a different width. When I try to slide the card in the reader, it just sits in there. It doesn't connect to anything. Am I missing something?
you seem to have a miniSD or microSD most likely from a cell phone which requires an adapter to use in most card readers to include most multi card readers. you can find an adapter at wal-mart, radio shack, or even your cell providers store
Q:Have a Canon Powershot A40 and a new computer with Vista , Can`t transfer from my camera and Canon says I need a Memory Card reader. Please walk me through what to buy and how it works, consider me a computer stupid person and go slooooow.
The A40 uses Compact Flash (CF) memory cards. You need to go buy a CF card reader (or you can use a multi-card reader). Take your memory card out of the camera and put it in the reader, then plug into your computer's USB port. It will be recognized as a removable drive. Transfer your images to your hard drive. Select 'Safely Remove Hardware' to disconnect the card reader. Format the card when you put it back in the camera. This deletes all files and prevents errors. If I were you, thoughI would seriously think about upgrading your camera (1.9MP) sometime, because it's sorta outdated. Secure Digital (SD) cards are the most used memory card type now (CF, dSLR). A new camera would go well with your new computer and new operating system p.s. I'm sure a card reader will be perfectly compatible with Vista, BUT make sure you check out the reader's specs before you buy it. It's probably a good idea to buy a multi-card reader because any new camera you buy will most likely use SD memory cardsso, a card reader that accepts a number of different cards makes economical sense. Unless you can buy individual readers quite cheap.
Q:i have bought a multi card reader usb device, which my windows do not installs automatically. what can i do to install it automatically? The card reader and the cable both are ok.i don't want to install new window. As i plug in other usb devices, they do work.when i insert the card reader cable into the usb port it detects only 1 removable drive in My Computer window, whereas it must have to show at least 3 or 4 removale drives, such as Removable Drive I, Removable Drive J, Removable Drive K, Removable Drive L.In my case, it only shows Removable drive I, and it do not opens the contents of the SD Micro card.please help me to solve this problem, Installing new window is not suitable right at this time.
This is a bit of a reach, but my first suggestion is to try another port. The other day, I was in a class where the student computers were semi-new Compaq Presario laptops. Each of the computers had two sets of USB ports on either side. The student next to me could not get her flash drive to work. I plugged it into a port on the other side of the computer, and it worked fine. What might be happening: laptops sometimes come with both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 ports. All USB 2.0 ports will run USB 1.1 devices, but the obverse is not always true. If you're jacked into a USB 1.1 port, your computer may be able to read one of the slots, but not the others. You can also try the device in another computer where you know you have a good USB 2.0 port, to see if it works. If you have the same problem, you probably have a defective card reader. If it's new, send it back. If it's not, get another one. They're pretty cheap nowadays.
Q:I have a laptop computer and there is nothing wrong with my USB ports. All of my other USBs work (these are not card readers) but the card reader which came with my Cyclo DS is not reading the card. The computer is picking up the card READER but the card reader is not reading the card. Thank you for all answers!
first of all format the card in FAT 16, not FAT 32 and only then it will work
Q:I'm doing a project in school, my basic goal is to demonstrate how insecure RFID credit cards are, I need to find a usb RFID card reader for less than 25 $ which will read a full credit card number, all of the readers i have found online seem to only read the first 10 digits of a proximity card. I really dont know much about the subject. does anybody have any suggestions for me? .also i would like to assure all of you that i do not plan on reading any credit cards other than my own.
The RFID Reader Module can be used in a wide variety of hobbyist and commercial applications, including access control, automatic identification, robotics, navigation, inventory tracking, payment systems, and car immobilization. There are a variety of transponder tags that come in different packages. Each tag has a specific range that is within 10% of the given distance for each type of tag. The reason for the 10% is due to environmental conditions and RFID modules. Key Features: Low-cost method for reading passive RFID EM4100 family transponder tags 2400 baud serial interface Enable input allows module to be enabled/disabled by software Bi-color LED for visual indication of status Application Ideas: 1. Robotics 2. Payment Systems 3. Automatic Identification Note: This device can be connected to a PC serial port using a MAX232 line driver. The circuit isn't supported by Parallax, but it's possible to make this connection with a few dollars of parts or by using the USB version of the reader. There is an outline of connections on the forums.
Q:I want to bid on a SD card on OKorder, a free Card Reader comes with it. What is it for? Why do I need it?
An SD card reader reads SD cards. Take your card from your camera, slot it into the reader, and it will download to the PC. Easier than attaching camera to PC.
