FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.
- Q:I have this Lexar MicroSD card adapter, and I used to be able to plug it into my Vantec 5 in 1 card reader, and it would pop up on the screen, now when I put it in, I don't hear a boo-boom! like I'm supposed to, and when I go into My Computer, nothing's there. It's not detected anymore. I read other questions and they say you need new drivers. I tried googling Vantec 5 in 1 card reader drivers and no websites with these drivers came up. I don't even think I need any. My MicroSD card that is in the adapter is unknown Maybe kingston. I got it with my R4 for my Nintendo DS, there is no logo on the card and this SD card was a free promotion type thing. 'buy R4 now and get a free 1gb SD card'. So can you help me please?
- Card readers usualy have the drivers built in i would try a different usb port if your are trying to use it in the front port it may not be getting enough power or the front port are damaged try using the back ports if it still doesn't work try it on a different computer if you think you do need drivers right click my computer then go to properties then the hardware tab then device manager if you see your card reader with a yellow attention symbol next to it it may need drivers or it has some other issues but it will tell you which additionally make sure its in sp3. if not run windows update. i dont know how many driver problems i have solved for people by doing that
- Q:i have this memory card reader it works perfectly by the last time i've used it, but a couple of days later my card reader cannot be detected by my computer, what can i do? is it my computer or my card reader the problem, i really need help! i need to recover my saved files.
- First.unplug any USB drives you may have plugged in. Then reboot with the card reader plugged in. See if you see the drive in My Computer. If not go to the control panel and see if it shows up in the Device Manager.
- Q:Hello,I used to use my mobile phone as a usb modern for my notebook, in order to connect it to the wap service, the problem is that the battery of the mobile gets empty very quicklyand I can't receive calls while I'm online , Is there any way I can connect to the internet using only the Sim card, not the mobile, with the aid of the usb Sim card reader
- No sorry, the reason you can connect to the internet using your phone is because your phone is the thing that connects to the internet, not the SIM card. SIM cards store the service-subscriber key (IMSI) used to identify a subscriber; basically they are the things that charge you for calls, not the things that make calls, or use the internet. They are just a unique number for your phone to be identified and charged for calls, texts etc. Sorry :(
- Q:I went to a card reader to get my cards read just for fun. She told me that my husband is really depressed and been thinking about commting suicide. Should i take her seriously or just blow it off as nothing. We have been having some problems but i thought everything was okay now. Hes offshore so i can't talk to him right now and this is really bothering me. I love my husband very much and this would devastate me.
- Card readers are the exact same as psychics, they are just cold readers. Think, and really THINK about what she told you, not the emotional impact it would have but WHAT she said. Think about it for a while, you'll find that she asked really vague questions in the beginning, and as the 'session' progressed it got more and more specific. She was guessing in the beginning, then making very educated guesses towards the end, it's called cold reading.
- Q:Ideally this reader would scan the card, and put it both into an excel spread sheet or MS Outlook (my choice). I think I mentioned that I want to build some mailing lists, but not have them be all in my Outlook database. So, an excel spread sheet will house these individual lists. Any ideas?
- If such a thing exists, it would likely be very expensive and not work very well. The problem isn't in reading the cards but making sense out of what is read. Business cards are far from standard in appearance and content. By the time that you scan in the cards, even automatically, and then proof read what the Optical Character Reader has created from the scans, you could probably have typed in the information more accurately. I have done quite a bit of OCR work in the past and the greatest time consumer was proof reading.
- Q:I have a usb card reader that reads all kinds of chips (Camera, phone) but when I try to use it my computer doesn't register it being plugged in.Any suggestions?
- I think you need to update your motherboard usb driver
- Q:How is the card reader used?
- 4. If the memory card is not the type of notebook computer reader support, then you can buy a USB interface, multi-function card reader.
- Q:i am looking for a USB SD card reader that will read 4GB cards (or higher). i'm running windows vista if that matters. i have tried 3 different card readers, 2 would read 1GB cards but none of them would read a 4GB card. please recommend a specific reader that will meet my needs! thanks!

- Q:I have a old 60 gb ps3, and it took a crap on me. do the new ps3s that they have at walmart have the card readers
- Not to my knowledge! I have a 80g ps3 that i got being very luckyand it was one of the last ones they had that had card readers.I have heard the new ones don't have card readers, they are not backwards compatible (won't play most ps2 games). I belive they did this because people were complaining that the price was way too high.so hat better way to make it cheaper then to remove certain things that would help lower the price!
- Q:I looked it up in my book and it dosent really say and the card reader didnt comt with directions either
- First off, you can use a usb cord to attach your phone directly into your computer with USB. there is also a memory card that you can place the very little memory card that came with the phone into and then place into a memory card reader into the computer. You can also text messege yourself songs to your phone. But I recomend using the USB cord and just attaching your phone to your computer and then using Windows Media to Sync your music to your phone. You sync it by going to your Sync under your music and tones. Hope this helps.
