Q:Ok, I cant offer much help but I have wanted one of these chairs for a while but I don't know what it's called. Here is the only picture I could find without the name.
It's hard to tell in the picture, but it appears to be a pair of high-backed wing chairs. The style of the back with the puckers and buttons is called tufted. This style of a low-backed sofa is called a chesterfield. You can look up images online to see examples. The arm is rolled, and the trim is called nail head trim. And of course, the material is leather. These chairs look like the type that would be found in a fancy home library or in an elite country club setting or maybe even an exclusive pub. I don't think a similar chair would be hard to find. But if the back is as high as it appears to be, that may be a hard part to come up with.
Q:I mean, it's rather obvious that they really hit people with the chairs, I mean, first a chair is perfectly normal, then it has a dent after a wrestler gets hit. How do they fake these? Or is the storyline the only thing that's fake?
The chair hits are real.. they really do get hit with the chair.. and it really does hurt.. people think just because the outcome is predetermined and they aren't really getting punched in the face.. means everything is fake.. when it isn't.. you can't fake a chair shot.. and when you get body slammed in the middle of the ring.. guess what!? It really hurts.. the ring isn't soft like a bed.. it actually isn't very forgiving..
Q:Almost every time it is time to eat, my son (10 months) doesn't want to sit in his booster high chair. He will see it and start to hold me tight, arch his back, and everything. He will eat if I hold him though. He IS clearly hungry too. We have had this seat since he was 6 months old and he doesn't do this every single time. What should I do?
That's a tough one. My son is the opposite way. Every time he sees his booster out he knows he is going to get to eat and gets excited. You said that he doesn't do this all of the time, but has he just recently started, or has he been doing it off and on since you got the chair? Do you have any reason to believe that the chair is uncomfortable for him? Are you using the tray with it? If you are, one idea could be to push it up underneath the table so that the actual table is in front of him instead of his tray. Another idea may be that he just doesn't like being on the chair unless he is being held. Will he sit in his chair if it is on the floor? I'll keep thinking of a few other ideas. Good luck!
Q:I have a stupid fear of electric chairs due to some bad dreams about sitting in one. I'm not a bad person in the death row or anything; I just have an irrational fear. I can't even look at an image of an electric chair without getting nauseous or fainting. Because of this I don't really like sitting in any chairs. Help me! :(
Well first of all I don't believe your fear of sitting in an electric chair is abnormal. You couldn't tempt me into one either! It was used as a symbol for death for many many years here in the US. It was held up as the ultimate price one would pay for doing something serious against the law. So the fear was ingrained in us even as little folks. I don't know your age, but my generation sure wanted nothing to do with the electric chair, and all the ugliness that goes with it. Do you have a fascination with death, as I notice the name you use here on YAN is Korpsie, and that is like asking for trouble. Why would you entertain such a name, when you claim to be afraid of the electric chair? It doesn't jive! It doesn't make sense to me. Your fear, or fascination, with death has overtaken your belief system. It has frightened you so much you are not even willing to sit in ordinary chairs. That is the irrational fear (not the electric chair!) Try to desensitize yourself by allowing yourself to sit in a sofa, or couch, and then move on to a few minutes in a chair, and then keep on doing that until your fear eventually goes away. You may need some therapy to deal with this problem. You spoke of bad dreams about electrical chairs. You know dreams are symbolic? Try to remember your exact dream, as then we can ferret out the real reason you are afraid of an electric chair. Earlier in your Life were you electrocuted by live wires of some sort? Something happened to make you very wary of electricity. Try hard to remember what it was, and then tell it to take a hike, because it's messing with your Life. OK? Good luck to you!
Q:Anybody have a Adirondack Chairs Videos?maybe you have video about how to make a adirondact chairs using a wood.

Q:A chair of mass 8.8 kg is sitting on the horizontal floor; the floor is not frictionless. You push on the chair with a force of 56.0 N that is directed at an angle of 30.4 degrees below the horizontal and the chair slides along the floor. Calculate the normal force that the floor exerts on the chair.
When you push on the chair at 56 N, that push is both downward and horizontal...so by Newton's III Law (action = reaction, the floor is pushing back up an amount that not only equals the weight of the chair but the DOWNWARD component of the force you are applying...so a little reflection shows that the total downward force on the floor must be F(dnwd) = 56 sin 30.4 + 8.8 X 9.8 = 114.6 N so the floor has to be pushing straight upward the same amount. Remember that W = mg so you have to multiply the MASS 8.8 kg by the acceleration of gravity 9.8 m/s^2 to get the WEIGHT.
Q:My fiance and I bought this chair from Rent A Center for only $100 cash and it is originally a $500 chair! 360-degree swivel chair.. enough room for two people.
Yep it's a good deal.
Q:Basically a chair without legs. Is there a site from which I can order one?
Kotatsu Chair
Q:Is the best computer chair Herman Miller? The most comfortable
According to Embody's design concept, such a back of the spine can reduce body pressure, speed up blood circulation and reduce heart rate, so that it can stretch the body and make the chest open to the utmost, which is good for breathing. This is the most critical and perfect design of Embody. In front of the most important WeChat, this chair is ergonomic, and is called the most propped chair. It doesn't feel uncomfortable even after sitting for a long time.
Q:i have looked several place online and around the area and have not found a deal when it comes to chair covers. I want to cover the chairs for the ceremony site and the reception which will be around 230 chairs. any suggestions on where to go or an easy alternative? thanks!!!
